Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men, Westport, California

Date of Stay: November, 2005 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

After looking around the area one of the best from Ft. Bragg North, Pomo in Ft. Bragg is a little nicer, but does not have the ocean view and beach access that Westport has. The premium sites on the west side of the park have great ocean views, as long as you get the sites that have no other RV units west of your unit. We stayed late in the season and the park was not very occupied, but it was concerning to see some old units that seemed to be parked there for quite a while, one had a gnarly looking individual that was always hanging out his passenger side window of his old ratty RV and stared at us every time that we drove by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Westport Beach RV Park and Campground (formerly Westport Beach / N Men in a Fifth Wheel.

Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort, Plymouth, California

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, but we found the spaces rather small and the hook ups were in need of upgrading and repair. Great place for wine tasting and checking out the mother lode area. A little over priced but we would stay again. 32' 5th wheel. We camped at Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
