Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff for a late arrival. Nobody available to guide me to the site and the grounds were very dark. I didn't see my assigned site until I was past it and didn't want to back up with the tow car hooked up. Just found the next pull thru site and parked. No one complained and I got a much needed rest. As I was leaving early the next morning I did notice that a lot of the sites seemed to be occupied by rigs that had construction trucks parked by them. Since it is a couple of miles at least off the highway exit they may have a local population more than travelers. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park), Casa Grande, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This park needs to join the computer age. No Wi-Fi at the sites. Computer access is in a small room by the office that has limits of 30 minutes on users or else take your laptop to the laundry and use an Ethernet card. I was in a motorhome and was assigned a site on a street that was mainly park models. I did meet the 2 other RVers, but had no interaction with the park model folks. I felt like they considered us transients and they had long standing relationships with their neighbors so they didn't feel like being friendly to the short-timers. If I ever go back here I will insist on camping with other RVers and unless they get Wi-Fi so I can watch movies on my computer in the evening I will find another place to spend my vacation. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Marshall Ash Village RV Park, Stratton, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Very tight to get the RV out. Took a few limbs off the tree to do it and with the trees could not use the satellite TV. No cable TV, no Wi-Fi, and big ruts in the parking lot of the little store/gas station where we had to register. We camped at Marshall Ash Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Thunderbird State Park, Norman, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed during the holiday weekend and there were lots of people around. Campground hosts were very helpful running the roads in their little golf cart with the rooster riding shotgun. We camped at Lake Thunderbird State Park in a Motorhome.
