Very convenient to HIghway 84. Open site with a concrete pad and picnic table. Nice Casino with a theater and awesome buffet. Good security and friendly people at the casino.

The park seems to have undergone improvements since our stay 3 years ago. It's a very clean park and spaces are wide. They have many permanent folks but have done an excellent job of keeping the park neat and tidy. We thought about using the indoor pool but it was too cold for us and the spa was not operating But all-in-all I would stay there again and recommend it as a very nice park.

Kanab RV Corral

Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay:

A gravel parking lot scrunched between a busy highway and a street. Very crowded. Much highway noise. Walmart would be a better choice but there isn't one. We came to spend the day at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary so we were not able to site shop. But I wouldn't recommend this as a comfortable place to stay.

What a nice campground this is. Very small but each site has a nice patch of green grass. There are comfortable places to sit and enjoy the landscape. They have placed lawn furniture around for all to enjoy. We found the park to be convenient, clean and friendly. Plenty of space between the rigs. Phone and Satellite not a problem either.

This is a very old park conveniently located near downtown Salt Lake City. It is in a very rough neighborhood and if you have children you need to be with them at all times. You would not want to walk around at night. Some of the spaces have been improved and are very nice - others are really cramped together. It has a tiny dog area that is all mud/dirt and they could do much better. Garbage overflows the dumps ters and the playground is in an area behind the office and hard to see/find. We will likely stay again because of the convenience but for such a large park they could do much better regarding security and cleanliness. A larger dog park would be nice as well.

Ely KOA

Ely, Nevada

Date of Stay:

This is a nice KOA. They have two great dog parks that are fenced. They have trees and have done a good job of separating the more permanent residents from rvs. Very clean park with lovely mountain views. Ely is fun to visit with a great little train to check out and the Rennisance villiage. People who only stay a day are missing out. Phones and Satallite worked fine here.

Nice little camp ground. Lots of sounds of freedom. Go in the commercial gate and you may need to telephone from the gate and wait for them to open in. We got out the main gate w/o any problem. It's so dry there now that it's not very attractive. Fallon is a nice little town with some interesting shops.

Beautiful state park right next to Eagle Lake. The lake is very low but there are still boaters and fishing going on. The sites are in towering pine trees. If you experiment you can get satellite and our phone worked. There are lots of hiking trails. Susanville is about 13 miles away and the road is winding.

We love this park. We try to make our trips through Lakeview just so we can stay here. This is a working ranch with all the sounds and sights of a ranch. There are jeep trails to explore and a reservoir with trout! While you are parked rather close to your neighbor, you do have a wonderful unobstructed view from your front window of mountains and ranch life.

Beautiful park. Lots of space between the sites. The Roads in the park are paved and you are very near the river. There are excellent walking and biking trails. I would have rated this park as excellent but we were parked where an automatic sprinkler hit our coach every single morning, waking us up. The sprinkler was moveable but the host said he could only move it closer to our RV. We felt that was not very accomodating. Oregon is in a drought but they were irrigating the main street into the park to keep it green. The majority of the water was going into the street and not on the grass.

This is an older park. Lots of big trees and a very nice beach to walk to. Unfortunately their are no sewer hookups and their dump site is broken. When I asked the Park Ranger when it would be working again he snapped at me, "How would I know?" Not very professional. We were here over Labor Day and the camp was full. I wouldn't recommend this park for camping. The beach is lovely and I would recommend it.

There isn't a whole lot here but it's very economical and the nearby beaches are great. The guards at the gate are very friendly. Great laundry facility with pool table and enough washers and dryers for lots of people. And it's free. We like to visit this camp every year. We like going in to Astoria and buying fresh seafood in Warrenton.

This is a new Oregon Park and it's very nice. This park has lots and lots of bike trails and hiking trails -- even some horse trails. We've enjoyed walking and driving to various small towns in the area. We didn't get satallite but it could have been just our site. PHones and lap tops worked great. The sites are very nice with lots of space between them and they are huge. Very friendly hosts too.

This is a wonderful area to visit and stay. The sites are great -- lots of space and privacy. We especially loved the big field that is provided to exercise your dog off the the leash. I know this will continue to be a place that we will visit. Lots of great trails for walking and bikes. All the trails we saw were paved.

Very nice camp sites with lots of space between. The reservoir is quite low but there is still enough water for boats, swimming, and fishing. Pretty views and trails.
