About Newbet

We RV when we can. Still have a home but try to get on the road as often as possible. We travel in a motorhome and tow our Jeep. We really depend on RV Park Reviews and I try to give them as well. Thanks to all the people who give honest reviews.

Surrounded by trees and grass. Very well maintained. Huge play area for kids. Sites are quite nice with a concrete patio and table. I was sad that we were only there overnight. Checking in is quite confusing. The Days Inn motel runs the KOA. Just as we were pulling in the entrance we spotted the sign that said not to enter until registering at the mohtel. We were towing so that was not possible. We called the hotel and they insisted we come up there. We had to unhook and that was not what we were planning to do. So the signage is not good. Hard to find the KOA. Tiny signs about where to register and no properly posted. Huge play ground. Lovely surroundings. There is an ampitheater there and I'm not sure how it works for campers. It's huge but not much was working.

There are not many choices in the area. It was quiet and we were surrounded by trees and grass. There was a nice fenced dog play area. There is a paved road to the park. The road is narrow but it's pretty typical for this part of the counry. The spaces are too close to allow outside enjoyment: picnics and just sitting outside. We were visiting relatives and not staying there during the day. The office people were nice and ready to give directions. The park is well maintained.

What a nice place to stay. The spaces are not close and there is a fire pit (really nice one), and a really nice picnic table. It's paved and the pull through was long. We received a key card for the rest rooms and pool at the hotel. Frequent security came through. Lots of green grass and places to walk the dog. I would give them a 10 if there was a fenced dog area. The Casino is very nice and their buffet is a great bargain.

Like most campgrounds in this part of the country - it's hilly with a narrow road to the campground. We held our breath that no one was coming down the mountain because there was certainly no room! The spaces were quite close and kind of confusing to tell gravel road from space. It's probably fine for a family vacation but not a good idea for just one night. And there are the list of rules - one of which tells people to call the owner immediately if you hear cursing. Call day or night they say. I stayed inside for fear of stubbing my toe and saying $#%**%%.

Lovely park with large shade trees and a pond. There was plenty of space between spaces. The owner escorted us to our space. This would be a great place to park for several weeks. We could only stay two days but would love to return.

I am so glad they had a place for us. It was nice being surrounded by grass. The fairgrounds provided lots of good walking. Our dog enjoyed those walks too. It wasn't noisey and the hosts were very friendly. You are packed in quite close and you park on grass. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice park. It's surrounded by farmland. The park has lots of grass and trees. Plenty of places to walk the dog. We stayed longer because of the weather. The Casino is great. People are so friendly. The Buffet is awesome too. Be sure and join and they will give you $5.00 off your space and $25.00 to gamble.

We just stayed one night - the 4th of July. We have stayed here before. It's so clean and large pull through spaces. Lots of room to walk and explore. The managers are very friendly. Nebraska City is worth visiting and this park would be fine for a longer stay. Very family friendly and dog friendly.

Reliability is the main characteristic we ask for. When you make a reservation you expect it to be honored. The least someone could do is notify you immediately if they decide to "not honor" it. We made a reservation prior to coming and prepaid. When we arrived in the afternoon we were told that our site was given away because someone made a mistake. They said to go ahead and unhook as they had another site. We unhooked but then they said that site was also unavailable. They, then offered us a 38 foot side that had 30 amp in their overnight park. We have a 42 foot motor home, we need 50 amp, and we need a place to park our vehicle. So after a hard day's drive you expect to have a place to park. Tower is unreliable and if you use it, you are taking a big risk. Not only did they fail to honor our reservation but they have not refunded the $198.00 we paid for the week. They said it would be 2-4 weeks before it would be returned. If you do stay here please be aware that people wander through the lot who do not live there. Be careful going out to walk the dog at night. There does not appear to be any security. Do not expect the park hosts to be responsive or helpful.

This is convenient to Highway 75. The manager is very friendly. There is a grassy area for tents that worked great for exercising our dog. This is in a not so good area and probably would not be good for a longer stay. But it was great for two nights. It was very clean and the spaces were wide enough for us.

Very convenient to HIghway 84. Open site with a concrete pad and picnic table. Nice Casino with a theater and awesome buffet. Good security and friendly people at the casino.

The park seems to have undergone improvements since our stay 3 years ago. It's a very clean park and spaces are wide. They have many permanent folks but have done an excellent job of keeping the park neat and tidy. We thought about using the indoor pool but it was too cold for us and the spa was not operating But all-in-all I would stay there again and recommend it as a very nice park.

A gravel parking lot scrunched between a busy highway and a street. Very crowded. Much highway noise. Walmart would be a better choice but there isn't one. We came to spend the day at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary so we were not able to site shop. But I wouldn't recommend this as a comfortable place to stay.

What a nice campground this is. Very small but each site has a nice patch of green grass. There are comfortable places to sit and enjoy the landscape. They have placed lawn furniture around for all to enjoy. We found the park to be convenient, clean and friendly. Plenty of space between the rigs. Phone and Satellite not a problem either.

This is a very old park conveniently located near downtown Salt Lake City. It is in a very rough neighborhood and if you have children you need to be with them at all times. You would not want to walk around at night. Some of the spaces have been improved and are very nice - others are really cramped together. It has a tiny dog area that is all mud/dirt and they could do much better. Garbage overflows the dumps ters and the playground is in an area behind the office and hard to see/find. We will likely stay again because of the convenience but for such a large park they could do much better regarding security and cleanliness. A larger dog park would be nice as well.
