Kritter’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins, Newberry, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We had stayed here also in August but when it came time to leave we had truck trouble. We were headed to Canada for a fly in fishing trip. The owners 'came to our rescue' by finding another site for us in their park (our full hook up was taken starting that day) and even took us to town so we could get groceries as we had not planned on taking anything to Canada with us. When the truck finally was ready to go (and we'd rearranged our trip to Canada to the following week), the owners allowed us to park our rig off site for the time we were gone and then on our return trip we stayed another couple of nights before heading back home. This is a VERY nice place; clean, well kept, family oriented AND QUIET. We will be back and have recommended to many others. We camped at Kritter’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Kritter’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins, Newberry, Michigan

This is our last SKP discount park before heading into Canada. We have been very pleased with our stay. The sites are very large (we have a 40' 5th wheel with 3 sl) and pull through. It is a very scenic, clean park and a large book exchange in the lobby area. Contrary to other remarks we didn't find the rules threatening at all. Very close proximity to many attractions. We camped at Kritter’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Tiki RV Park & Campground, Saint Ignace, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We are Escapee members traveling through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and find it is hard to locate SKP parks. This is an SKP park. Nice shady big sites, friendly staff and close to attractions. The park is very nice and maintained well. We spent a couple of days here mainly due to the central location and it is a nice park. Wi-Fi available at rear of office but we didn't use because we could use our Verizon air card here. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Summer Breeze Campground, Iron Mountain, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We are Escapee members traveling through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. SKP parks are hard to find, but this is a nice park, close to town, friendly staff. Sites were accommodating for our 40' 5th wheel. We couldn't use my Verizon air card and wifi was iffy at the park so couldn't get online here. That's not a problem for us though. We would stay again. We camped at Summer Breeze Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
