Friendly owners, helpful. Park roads are paved and wide enough for big rigs. RV sites are on gravel, different lengths available, pretty level, shrubs between sites. Power hookup and cable TV at the front left, water & sewer at rear left, kind of unusual. Check the length of your power cord before you unhitch. WiFi worked well. The whole park is only a few years old and therefore everything is still nice, clean and in good shape. Restrooms were very clean, with tiled floors and tiled walls to about 4' high. Showers are kind of open, just behind curtains but are big enough to dress without banging your head. There is a pool and a hot tub, I didn't use either one. The laundry has 3 stacked units: front load washers at the bottom and dryer on top, clean and nice. There is some noise from the highway, but the further back you are the less noise you hear. We liked it and will definitely return.

For us it was another return visit. Friendly owners, helpful. Park road is paved, not very wide and longer rigs have to watch out. Sites are left-right interchanged and on dirt, some have gravel and all have plenty of pine needles. Sites are very long but narrow, and there are trees too. Slideouts are OK, awnings can work on certain sites. Satellite dish will work on sites 1 - 4, the others are too much in the trees. Hookups are dated but working. Wi-Fi works as long as you are close to the office. Restrooms are clean, tiled floor, standard separations. It is convenient for us visiting our friends and we will return again.

We were traveling and only stayed 1 night, even though I wished I could stay longer. It is a very nice park, typical state or county park layout with backup in and pull through sites, all paved and long and wide enough for your slideouts and awnings. Full hookup and working, even with cable TV and WiFi! WiFi wasn't the fastest in my case, but it worked. The restrooms unfortunately weren't clean at all, and in the men's the paper was totally out and all doors were missing. So, I don't know if that is the job of the host or what happened, but it could have been an easy 10 without that. A sign said new showers and laundry should be open by June 2014. There seemed to be a host on site, but never saw anybody. Self registration. I will certainly return next time here.

This "park" is a paved parking lot with hookups, but no WiFi or TV. The actual sites are on concrete, long enough for 5er and truck, pull through, wide enough for slide outs but not for awnings. You don't extend the awnings anyway. Registration is at the casino hotel, friendly, helpful but definitely not RVers. You receive a key to open the power pedestal at your site. Additionally, first time here, I received a bonus card with $15.00 on it to play in the casino. Therefore, this park is a real good deal! Had dinner in the restaurant and was very pleased with it. There are no restrooms at this park. It is about as nice as a paved parking lot can be but you are not coming to this park for the scenery anyway. It is well lit the whole night and there are rail tracks up front right across the road. The trains blow their whistle until about 8 p.m., I didn't hear them later. I will return if again in the area.

We stayed 1 night while driving north. Friendly and helpful staff. Road is paved, site was on grass/dirt and somewhat level, long enough for 5er & truck and wide enough for slideout and awning. Hookups are very basic and working. WiFi was available, not fast and cutting out. Restrooms are there but I would not use them, look old, are old and could be way cleaner. Constant noise from I-5, not really bad but always present. It looks like there are a few longtimers in this park and it definitely could use some updates. We stayed as it was time to stop and because we couldn't find an earlier RV Park. I will not return.

We stayed a week in this park. Staff was friendly and helpful at check-in. Roads are wide and on gravel. Sites are level, all on gravel, long and wide enough for all kind of RV's. RV site, patio, vehicle parking side-by-side. Hookups are standard and working. Internet is available by 3rd company, didn't try it, used my own solution. Cable TV is available at certain sites, didn't try it, used my satellite. Almost no trees, all open spaces, bushes around RV Park. Nice and clean restrooms. 32nd Road at front of property, canal at the back and little bit further back the rail tracks. Airport is not far and every once in a while you have a plane or a helicopter flying by. Noise hasn't been a big issue but there is almost all the time some noise present. Like everywhere else you get reasonable weekly deals with Good Sam and Passport America. We would return if again in the area and can recommend this park if you can live without green grass and a little bit of noise.

It was our first experience in one of these 55+ parks mostly catering to seasonal guests in park models. So far, we liked it. Staff & management was very friendly and helpful. Park roads are all paved and well maintained. Sites are 45' x 35', backup in, on gravel with a concrete pad in the middle for your table and chairs, truck/vhc on the left, RV to the right. All hookups you need and working. Wi-Fi sometimes got a bit slow in the evening and morning. Clean restrooms. Plenty of things to do like tennis, lawn bowling, horse shoes, whirlpool, pool, woodworking shop, sewing room, library, and plenty more. Pricey on a daily basis. Weekly rates with Good Sam or Passport America are reasonable for what they offer. We liked it, can recommend it and will return.

This State Park is a typical State Park, but really it is a Gem! Nice layout, paved and concrete roads and sites. Ranger was friendly and helpful. Sites are long, pretty level left-right but sloping towards the back, not a problem. Enough space for slide out and awning. Table, grill & fireplace at site. Hookups are standard and working. Verizon had a good signal, Virgin mobile didn't. Restrooms are shower, toilet & basin in 1 room, tiled and clean. Some sites are more in the trees and might be more difficult for satellite signal. We were staying at 2 different sites and had a sat signal at both. Beautiful trail along the lake with benches and docks for boats. We really liked it, can recommend it and would return if again in the area.

We arrived at early afternoon, self registration. Roads and sites are paved and narrow, sites are short, some very short and some longer ones. Most of them are in an odd angle so you have to drive in instead of backing into them. It doesn't really matter as there are no hookups at all. We found a back in site long enough for our 5er and truck with enough space for slide out and awning. Restrooms are toilets only and could have been cleaner. At this time, there was only 1 other RV staying here. It is very nice but could be even way nicer with a little bit of maintenance. It is a perfect place to start your tour of Canyon de Chelly. We would return if again in the area as it is the only campground here and we think it is not worth wile pulling the RV to the other campground which is quite a way into the park.

We arrived on a fairly nice day and liked the setup. Then it started snowing for several days. Staff was friendly & helpful. Rate is after Good Sam discount. Sites are long enough for 5er + truck, level, wide enough for slideout and awning, on gravel and dirt - and that became a little bit of a problem when the snow melted, it was wet, soft and that red sand really sticks to your shoes. Hookups are basic and working, WiFi worked, the signal strength ranged from good to very poor and the bandwith fluctuated from acceptable to nothing at all. If you need the Internet, bring your own solution. Verizon had a signal, Virgin mobile didn't. I got a 94% Satellite signal strength with Shaw direct. Restrooms are average and could have been cleaner when we were there, they weren't maintained every day. We stayed 5 nights and would return again if in the area. The view, the hiking possibilities and the proximity to Monument Valley are real assets here.

We stayed a week, price reflects that. Host was friendly and helpful. We had a backup in site, level and long enough for RV. On gravel and all gravel between sites. It was wide enough for slide outs and awnings. All hookups you need and working. WiFi is working, but not very reliable. It is best at midnight. Restrooms are really clean. Toilet stalls are old style but really clean. There are plenty of longtimers staying here, but it doesn't bring the picture down at all as there are no crappy looking trailers and no mess around them. We can recommend this park and would stay again if in the area.

It is a beautiful, small park with 21 sites. Because there is only power available, bring lots of water for the time of your stay. You would have to go to Moab for additional water which is about 30 miles away. There is a dump station at the park entrance. Staff at the visitor center was friendly and helpful. The assigned site was long enough for our 5th-wheel and truck. However, all sites are narrow and you might need all the asphalt there is for the width of your RV. I needed 2 boards on 1 side to level and the site was sloping forward. But there is enough space left and right for slide outs and awnings. A covered picnic table on a concrete slab is nice in the hot summer and is nice to have in winter, too. Power was reliable, Verizon has a cell signal here but Virgin mobile doesn't. The restrooms provide flush toilets and a basin to wash your hands, nothing else, fairly clean. It is really a beautiful park and you have hiking trails right from the park. In high season, make sure you have your site as it would be a long way back if it was full. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival staff was friendly and helpful and "highlighted" certain rules like time when kids had to be on their site and quiet time. A good start but at 05.00 p.m. the staff was leaving and nobody enforced any of the highlighted rules! Our site was slightly sloping to one side and to the front, no problem. One board and you are level. The site was on asphalt, grass and gravel between sites, long enough for 5th-wheel and truck and wide enough for slide out and awning. Hookups are standard, Wi-Fi is from TengoInternet and I wasn't even able to connect. Going back to the office I received a "sorry" and "we can't do anything about it'" Therefore, no internet, bring your own solution. If we wouldn't have had partying neighbors not caring about the rules, it would have been much better. The separate restroom building is way better than the one in the office building. Unfortunately it was cleaned only once per day. Overall, it is a nice park with lots of potential but would need a better management or staff and a little bit money for maintenance. I will choose another park for my next visit.

In early November it often looks different than in summer. Staff was friendly and helpful in the office. When we arrived at our site, we were greeted by neighbours dog barking and having done his business all over the place. That is not really the fault of the park, but it doesn't make for a good first impression. The sites are long, slightly sloping forward but no problem for leveling. They are on dirt and wide enough for slide outs but the awnings might just touch neigbours RV. Basic hookups, working, nothing special. WiFi had a signal but nothing was going through. Bring your own solution or get mad! Restrooms were done o.k. but could use a cleanup and an update. Highway noise is always present but doesn't prevent you from a good sleep. I think it is way overpriced for what it is or how it is presented. As an RV Park by itself it wouldn't work, only together with the other stuff at the ranch - in summer time - it is worth while going there. I will not return.

We found this park by chance and only because pretty much everybody else was already closed. The owners are very friendly and helpful and their attitude or gun wearing didn't bother me at all. The office is much nicer inside than it looks from the outside. The sites are level, on gravel and long enough for big rigs, but not really wide. We were able to push out our slideout and didn't use the awning on the other side. We could have as the next site was empty. The sites are really tight and you might have to do some maneuvering even in the pull-throughs. In November, most sites were empty but in summer with all sites occupied it might look different. The hookups worked, standard power pedestal and a winterized water tap. Cable TV was available and had a fairly good choice of channels. I liked the music channels best. Wi-Fi was good and reliable. There is 1 restroom with 1 shower, 1 toilet and 1 basin for everybody. It is not state of the art and could be presented nicer and cleaner. The advantage of this RV Park is its location right in town. Walking distance to pretty much anything and only a real short drive to Crazy Horse Memorial. I would return if everybody else is closed but if not, I might try another one.
