Shoreline RV Park, Eureka, California

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice new park located close to all the local attractions. Spaces are very long (70'+), with green grass and trees between all spaces. Park is very well maintained. Management is very nice and helpful with local info. All RV's are newer and clean. No permanents. Very clean restrooms and laundry facilities. Convenient location next to HWY 101, but yet remarkably quiet. We stayed for one week and would stay again. We camped at Shoreline RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mad River Rapids RV Park, Arcata, California

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Ok campground, but there are better in the area. The park is reasonably clean, but older. More of a family park than an adult park. Not the quietest park we've stayed at. Asphalt is cracking or broken in a lot of areas. Grassy areas are primarily comprised of weeds. This park is past its prime and needs a little TLC to be above average. We camped at Mad River Rapids RV Park in a Motorhome.
