Camp Huaco Springs, New Braunfels, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

It was a little hard to get our 30ft trailer backed into our spot. The camp site was full, and we got there late. So my advice is get there early if you have a long trailer, or just get there early period. When we made the reservation the lady on the phone said there aren't a lot of tent campers along the water unless it's a holiday weekend, but she may have understated that. It wasn't packed, but there were a lot of tents. Over all it was a very nice camp and the convenience to the Rockin' R made it the perfect place for us to stay and float the river! We camped at Camp Huaco Springs in a Travel Trailer.

Loved it! It was our first time to camp in our new trailer, and we loved it. Great view of the lake and tons of shade! The waterfront sites had tons of room for parking and running around. Can't wait to stay again! We camped at Brushy Creek COE in a Travel Trailer.
