Border City Motel & RV Park, Tok, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in 2008 and found it acceptable, but this time we found it very run down. The bathrooms were dark and dingy, the WiFi unusable at the sites and the restaurant was closed as the cook was sick so using the WiFi in the building was not possible. The campground and facilities have definitely not been kept up. I would not stay here again. We camped at Border City Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bear Creek RV Park, Seward, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here in both 2005 and 2008 but we were very unhappy with the campground when we camped here in July, 2015. We found the owners rude to the point they ignored you when you entered the cluttered building to use the restrooms/showers. They sat the the counter watching TV, which I might add was unavailable to the campers. The internet was not available at sites and with the cluttered conditions in the building I felt uncomfortable sitting inside. The most unpleasant aspect of the campground however was the locked bathrooms from 9 pm to 8 am requiring the use of port-a-potties if needed during the night. I would not stay here again. We camped at Bear Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shady Rest RV Park, Houston, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here on our way to Alaska. Staff were very pleasant. Bathroom and showers were very clean. This campground was the highlight of our day with the beautiful flowers and many hummingbirds visiting the flowers and feeder. Overall a very pleasant place to stay. We camped at Shady Rest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Winnemucca I-80 KOA, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

With the new affiliation the owner has been making improvements to the campground. He is in the process of improving the hook-ups at the sites and removing the permanent camping units. The bathrooms were very clean and the campsites spacious. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Winnemucca I-80 KOA in a Motorhome.

Woodhaven RV Park of Halifax, Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for seven days. The sites were fine in width, but you had to be careful not to run into the camper behind you. The bathrooms were often dark during the day. I have yet to find a light switch. I assumed they were on a timer. The showers were also dark with no light. The Wi-Fi was available at our site but it was sometimes sporadic. I would recommend this campground to others. We camped at Woodhaven RV Park of Halifax in a Travel Trailer.

Bras D'Or Lakes Campground, Baddeck, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campground. The restrooms were kept very well cleaned and well stocked. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a lake view and you can walk down to the lake. The campground is very convenient to Baddeck. I would definitely recommend this campground to others. The one downside is lack of shade at the campsites. We camped at Bras D'Or Lakes Campground in a Travel Trailer.
