Deer Creek Valley RV Park, Topeka, Kansas

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Love this park! We have a lab/greyhound mix who loved the fenced dog run. It is huge and surrounded by a 6' fence. We don't come across many RV parks where she can run full speed, and where we don't have to worry about her jumping the fence. The park is clean, friendly, and well kept. One of our favorites for sure! We camped at Deer Creek Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you're hungry, Lonnie's BBQ is within walking distance of the park. Awesome food, and all but their bread and potatoes are gluten-free!

Grape Creek RV Park Campground and Cabins, Westcliffe, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly, hard-working owners who purchased this RV park July 1, 2010. They are improving and upgrading the facilities and sites. Very green and grassy, well-maintained shrubs and trees. Pet-friendly. Gorgeous views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains and surrounding valleys. Close to a quaint and restored town, and a great Ace Hardware Store. Park has many repeat campers who return yearly, which is a good sign. If you're nearby, don't miss this one since Grape Creek is more appealing than other RV parks nearby. We camped at Grape Creek RV Park Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA), Clayton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We had reservations and arrived late. Owners forgot or neglected to put confirmation with site number outside. Grounds not well maintained and grass not green. Appeared to have some permanents throughout the park. OK for an overnight stop, but would not have stayed here longer. We camped at Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA) in a Motorhome.
