Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Used our Coast to Coast rate while we were here. Park was very accommodating since we did not have reservations and essentially walked up just before the Labor Day weekend. Although no individual sewer sites, a dump site is available. Pad sites varied in "level-ness". We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Home AFB FamCamp (Military FamCamp), Mountain Home AFB, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived late at night. Was easy to find a spot and to self-register. Clean, and host was friendly. Parking available for towed vehicles. Loved the flyover by the Mountain Home AFB aircraft on training flights. We camped at Mountain Home AFB FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Glenn Cunningham Lake Campground, Omaha, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Took a while to get to, because the address given on the website does not get you to the campsite. Got here very late, but self-pay and self-locate worked very well. When we woke up, we could not get over the lovely small lake and marina that we found ourselves next to. We would stay here again. Directions: Take 72nd St exit off I-680; head north on 72nd St; make left onto Rainwood Rd (heading west); after about 3/4 mile, enter campground on left (south) side through gate onto dirt road. We camped at Glenn Cunningham Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for five nights. We had the opportunity to change sites in order to stay the last three nights and gladly took it. Gorgeous spot with gobs of biking and walking trails as well as close to downtown Denver and southern suburbs. Rate was for full hook-up; also need to be aware of $8 daily park fee, unless you already have paid annual state park fee. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cherry Creek State Park in a Motorhome.
