Dinosaur Valley State Park, Glen Rose, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We took the kids camping for the weekend. I am glad we made reservations since there were only a couple of spots left when we checked in. It's a beautiful park with lots of trails. We had a nice hike through the woods. The kids loved it! The fire pits and picnic tables are nice. We would camp here again. We camped at Dinosaur Valley State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Turquoise Trail is a beautiful place to stay! The sites are a little close together, but it is clean and peaceful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The road into the park is a little rough, so please drive slowly. We would stay again! We camped at Turquoise Trail Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was our first family camping trip: over Labor Day weekend. We had a great time at Doctors Creek Unit! This park is clean and well-maintained. The sites are spaced well. The kids had a blast playing in the lake and on the playground. The restrooms are clean and showers have hot water. We will be back again! We camped at Cooper Lake State Park / Doctors Creek Unit in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA , Montgomery, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Conroe KOA. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the spots are clean, the park is spacious, and the dogs really enjoyed the dog runs! My only complaint is the lack of shade, which could be an issue when the temperatures rise. We camped at Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA in a Travel Trailer.
