This place is amazing! We had late check in and more than the required paperwork was available and waiting for us. It is well lit and I am not kidding when I say this is the cleanest park I have ever seen. Everything is perfect and brand new. You cannot be disappointed here!

We were very disappointed in this park. Our rate was over $100 but I could not put 3#s in the box. We way overpaid for this park. It was partially flooded and was not mowed. It was almost completely deserted except for just a few of us, and from first glace it was obvious why. The waterfront sites did not have hook up and sewer on the same side. Sites were very skinny with holes everywhere where it looked like pipes once were. This is a health nightmare as most of the pipes did not have caps and certain areas smelled like you know what. Do not be fooled by the "security." There is a gate going in but not out! There is no nightime security so you just go in through the exit. This looks like it was once a nice park and it is huge. Needs serious clean up and owners that care. The phone number rings to some company up north, and it shows in their campground. One last thing: it is in the middle of nowhere, 20-30 minutes to any place you want to go. There are lots of clean and average price campgrounds in the Keys, so pick something else. Try Marathon or a State Park. Good Luck.

I stayed here over Labor Day weekend with my husband and 4 kids age 6 to 16. We live on the coast only 1.5 hours away, and we were still blown away with how beautiful it is. I would recommend this park to anyone. We stayed in the Gulf campground (there are 2). Towards the end of the loop is a new bath house that is very nice. The other bath houses are older, and although I did not go in them, I heard other campers commenting on them that they were not near as nice. We took our bikes, and all the kids kept busy riding around. There is no park store, but there are a few stores 5-7 miles down the road. The sites are on bumpy, narrow roads, and we ended up just pulling in instead of backing in. They have a nice marina, and you dock for free if you are staying in the park. I highly recommend this park for some serious R&R. Enjoy!

We live locally and stayed at this park for 1 night. The campsites are actually on the Bay not the ocean, but are beautiful and the natural environment has been well preserved. We did not take our bikes, and it is a pretty long haul to to the beaches. We saw lots of wildlife including 2 gators. My kids enjoyed the beach hikes and the nature trails. My boys even walked up on a deer on the way to the bathrooms, and I think they were more scared than the deer. For people that want to stay close to the beach and still enjoy all that old Florida offers then this is the place for you.
