Grand Isle State Park, Grand Isle, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

The park has come a long way since Katrina. The staff is friendly . They sprayed for mosquitoes every night. It will be good when they get the fishing pier built back. We camped at Grand Isle State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hideaway Ponds Recreational Resort, Gibson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are close . They need to fill in some of the ruts people make when trying to back in to a sight. Price was due to coast to coast membership. They made us check out by 10am due to it being a members weekend. Not the best but not the worst I have stayed at. We camped at Hideaway Ponds Recreational Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Good park and beach area is very nice. The spot I was in was sandy but secluded by shubbery in the back and on both sides. I will camp here again if in the area. We camped at Saint Andrews State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Robert, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park takes in a lot of money and very little is put back into it. A little bit of rain makes it sloppy. Restrooms were dirty and in need of upgrade. This could be a nice park with the right people running it. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

F. D. Roosevelt State Park, Pine Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2006 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here over New Years and really enjoyed it. only problem was we got to the park after dark and had alittle trouble finding a 40 ft. site until we saw the sign for area 5. I am glad that we ended up in area 5 as I like this area better than the others. Callaway Gardens is very nice as was Warm Springs. We camped at F. D. Roosevelt State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only reason I did not rate it higher was because the roads were not paved. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
