The campground was nice, however we stayed in Shady Lane, and it was tough to get our 29 foot travel trailer in here! It was nice, however because we didnt' have a lot of traffic coming through. We camped with a group, and had 4 sites. It was wooded, which was nice. The kids played at the playground, and rode bikes up and down the steep hill. We hiked trail 3 on Saturday, and it was gorgeous! Great views and sites! Climbing the ladders was fun, but tiring. The 140 steps up were a killer too, but so worth it! Can't wait to come back and do more trails.

We waited all summer to find a weekend to camp at the Dunes, as it was full. The wait was worth it! What a great campground. My 2 kids had a ball. They rode their bikes, went to the 2 different play areas, ran up and down the small sand dune on site. Had fun showering in their facilities! The campground is clean, very family and dog friendly. We were surprised how big the sites were. Has a camp store on site, that had anything you would forget or run out of! It rained for a good part of the day. However, it did not stop us, we broke out the yahtzee and cards and had fun! The kids had fun in ponchos, running around in the rain! Can't wait to come back here in the summer!

We stayed at Thunder Valley for the August night race. We arrived on Thursday morning, and left Sunday morning. We had the site by the bathroom. They really pack you in for camping during the race. We were in a 20x40 spot, but it didn't' really matter! The bathrooms, were dirty, but that's to be expected with all those NASCAR fans showering. So we used our bathroom and shower in our RV. The hosts were wonderful! Would definitely camp there next year when we go back!

This was our first ever camping outing with our new travel trailer! Took our 2 kids and dog for a trial run! We didn't know what to expect, as we were new to the camping world. We were presently surprised. We stayed at the Chippewa Campsite. Stayed by the swing set, along the bike path. We brought our bikes and we went on many bikes rides. Took a hike to see the falls. It was fun. The campground was quite empty. The hosts were wonderful. It was more older couples, my kids did get bored, there were no other children for them to play with. That was the only downfall. Did have a place to fill up water, when you get there. Dumping station was quick and easy! We would definitely go back, but with friends for the kids!
