Absolutely the perfect RV park; paved level sites with landscaping, right on the water, views of the marina and pass, and immaculately maintained. Fell asleep to the sounds of waves crashing on the breakwall. RV parks with ATVs all around because of the dunes, but this park will not allow them in unless turned off and towed. No long term campers, just vacationers. My only "10" in the last two years!

Although the park is still recovering from the winter flood, Carol made us feel welcome and worked hard to make sure our stay was comfortable. It's easy to see how beautiful the park is during the summer when everything is green and the facilities are repaired. By far the best RV park in the area and a great place to see the redwoods, elk, and coast.

Overpriced - $36 gets you a small site with 30A power, water, and no sewer hookup. Cable TV is OK but only has 10 channels. WiFi is free, which is a nice touch. Probably a nice desination for a family with kids during the summer months; has a petting zoo and playground, but for an overnight stay it's not worth it. The classic example of why an overnight stay at Wal-Mart is so attractive.

A good park to stay in while visiting the area. Sites are gravel pull-throughs with shared hookups; not all will accommodate slide-outs. Sites are fairly level with a shade tree. Good cable TV, close to shopping, but also close to I-15 (noise). Gate locked after 6:00 PM, a nice touch in this area. Office has limited hours and no supplies, and propane is cheaper across the street at the gas station.

We were very pleased with our stay at this park. Located on a plateau above Benson, it is very well maintained by a host of frenetic workampers on golf carts. The lots are very large, not much shade but typical of this area. Lots of activities & the staff is very friendly. Unlike the other Benson parks, there is no train or interstate noise. An all-RV park, no park models or permanent residents. We'd stay here again, this is a quality park at a very reasonable price.

Nice little park on the north edge of town. Owner was very friendly and called a local restaurant to check if it was open; however, as mentioned in the previous post, was very strong on the 5MPH speed limit. Once we we set up, we were greeted by three beautiful and friendly campground cats, so I assume that's the reason for the speed limit concern. The pull throughs were of adequate size, hookups centrally located and satellite cable (11 channels) was provided. We didn't hear the coyotes, but were surrounded by coveys of quail each morning. We'd stay there again.

Nice long gravel pull-through with good access to hook-ups; unfortunately sites are adjacent to landfill with significant truck noise during day. Long, long hike to restrooms/office from most sites, be prepared to use your on-board facilities. Most of the park is devoted to fixed RV sites. Easy on/off to I-35 and San Antonio attractions and located in a good part of town. .

What can you say about the home of the Escapees? Sure, it's a bit noisy for those close to the highway, and the TV reception stinks, but everyone you meet is friendly and has a smile. Great clubhouse, socials, and staff. Everyone who belongs to the Escapees club should visit at least once.

Excellent park; all concrete roads & pads, level sites with patio and picnic tables. Easy to get into and out of. Shuttle buses continually roam area to take you to casino. Very comfortable.

Arrived in heavy rain & was directed to a site that although paved was not level and had 50 Amp hookup 2" above ground and right next to sewer. Managed to maneuver to another site in very tight area, also not level. This is basically a mobile home park with an RV area, suitable for small motorhomes or trailers, not motorhomes with towed vehicle.

The park is in a quiet wooded area and is being renovated by a very concientious owner. She is eager to improve the campground and was open to suggestions. The sites are shady and large. A nearby mobile home park does create some traffic and there are some permanent residents that detract from the overall experience. Overall, a good place to visit that should get better with time.
