Cross Country Campground, Denver, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Tried to over charge, but the folks that came in after us paid the lesser amount. They did refund us. Sites are very unleveled and short for a 38 ft 5th. Most all sites are for long term folks. was acceptable for a week. We camped at Cross Country Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Little Patch of Heaven (formerly Holt's Campground), Bardstown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

All I can say is Run! Do not stay at this park Sites very unlevel. Bad power, Dogs will attack your dog that is on a leash. Owner makes rules that for some of his buddies they can be noisy, drinking, singing and playing music and keep you awake at night, way after 10pm. Been traveling for 3 years and this has been the worst experience we have had. Never Again. We camped at Little Patch of Heaven (formerly Holt's Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Terry Bison Ranch Resort, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We had booked here for a week, wanted to see Cheyenne. After arriving and getting hooked up and finding that they are only supplying 111 volts of power on each side of the 50 amp, very bad, and low water pressure. We went to the office and told them we needed a refund and we were only staying 2 nights. So we could find another park on Sunday. This is the only reason they have a 1 rating other wise I would give them a ZERO! We then leave to go out to eat and come back and cannot pull our truck into our site, because the workers, next to us is having a party and have my driveway blocked with 2 trucks. They moved one and I had to go to the saloon to get somebody to call their security guy up to come and tell them to move the other truck. The park rules say do not park on the grass, well everyone here does park on the grass. They are partying bunch of drunk oil field workers. They are still partying at 9:55pm. The place seems to be full of them. Site are very tight. Place looks like homesteaders trailer park and not a rv park at all. Very trashy place. And we are leaving in the morning not Monday Morning. Probably will end up with the law here tonight. I would advise everyone to stay away from this place. We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Monthly rate. Stayed from the middle of July till middle of August. We really enjoyed this park everyone super friendly, park very well groomed. Nice sites. Restrooms are cleaner than hospitals'. Could use a few more washers and dryers. But with that said we will return in 2 years again. This is just a super park. Cannot say enough. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
