La Paz County Park, Parker, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

First time staying here and it was a very pleasant surprise. Not sure what it would be like during the summer months or holidays, but in October we were able to get a pull-thru site with a view of the river! We camped at La Paz County Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here one night. Requested and received a pull thru site so didn't have to disconnect enclosed trailer. Lot's of park model homes, but not a problem. We camped at Desert Skies RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to the highway, which made it convenient, but very little if any road noise. We used the hot tub and it was great after a long days drive.

Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Stayed here two nights to take in the Golden Spike Monument and the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. Won't stay here again due to the noise from the highway to the rear which was very bad. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Wal-mart across the street as well as several fast food restaurants. Just be aware that there is an intersection for the highway close by and you will hear every loud car, motorcycle and truck stopping or starting from the light 24/7.

Sea and Sand RV Park, Depoe Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here last weekend and loved it. You need to clarify what type of site you want as they have both oceanfront as well as forest and the differ widely. The oceanfront site are unbelievable. Yes they are close together, but you won't find oceanfront sites like this anywhere else on the Oregon coast. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! We camped at Sea and Sand RV Park in a Motorhome.

Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $27.00

Couldn't find a flat site anywhere! Should have made this a ski resort instead of a campground. These were the biggest hills we saw while in Iowa. We camped at Iowa State Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.
