Frog City RV Park, Duson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nice sized, pull through sites. Office staff is friendly and efficient. Yes, they do come out on the porch to greet you when you arrive. Rate is Passport America. Easy on/off of the interstate. Wide roads. Draw backs are the lights and noise from the adjacent gas station/casino. Road to park is the frontage road. It sits behind the Super 8 motel, so is not visible from the main road. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gulf Breeze RV Resort, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is probably one of the nicest RV parks we have ever stayed in. The sites are large with grassy area between sites. The sites have level concrete pads with adjacent concrete patio, picnic table and grill. Many sites have trees that are kept trimmed so as not to interfere with RV. Roads are wide and paved. Very clean, nice friendly and efficient staff in office. I don't think I have ever given a park a 10 rating before. We camped at Gulf Breeze RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Island RV Resort, Port Aransas, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very cramped!! Roads are narrow, sites are very narrow and almost all side by sides. Many permanent residents with old and ragged units. It is accessible to all Port Aransas attractions. We will not stay here again. We camped at Island RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Northgate RV Travel Park, Athens, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Nice overnight stay park right by the interstate. As was previously stated, the owner only takes cash or check. Don't follow directions on the Rand McNally GPS. It will take you way out of your way. We camped at Northgate RV Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground, Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The park is truly what it's name says. It is about 3 miles north of the gulf and it is set back from the road making it very quiet and secluded. the owners, Michelle and Joe are kind, pleasant, and constantly accessible. The sites are gravel and level. Hook ups are easy. Internet is provided, but is slow. There is a group of campers who spend the winter each year and they were very welcoming. The monthly dinner was as advertised. We will definitely return! We camped at Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground), Lebanon, Ohio

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here once or twice a year as it is close to our son's home. We usually stay around the holidays so I don't know what things are like in the summer. There are quite a few trailers that appear to be permanent, but they are generally neat and fair appearance. The sites are mostly level although we have had trouble with a couple. We haven't used the pool so can't comment. We will continue to stay here when we come to Ohio. We camped at Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA (formerly Cedarbrook Campground) in a Motorhome.

Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park), Goodlettsville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

I had called ahead and asked if they still did Passport America. They said they did, but when I checked in they only gave me a 10% discount. The roads were narrow and difficult to maneuver. It had rained a lot before and during our visit and there were some significant puddles. Our site was level. The location was convenient to Nashville sites. We would stay here again We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Wilderness RV Resorts at Silver Springs, Silver Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in The Preserve a class A only section of the park. Sites are very large. Concrete pads are a little uneven. The pool was not heated when we were here. A cost saving measure. Site owners were friendly and welcoming. River and trail along property edge were nice. Would definitely come here again. We camped at Wilderness RV Resorts at Silver Springs in a Motorhome.

Big Cypress RV Park, Clewiston, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

As previously reported this campground has 2 very different areas. The first has full 50 amp hookups, concrete pads and lots of trees. This area is occupied by return campers and there is a waiting list to get one of these sites. The second area has grass sites with 30 amp hookups and no sewer. The nice thing is the honey wagon comes twice a week and they empty your tanks. The sites are very large and some have a little shade. I did not see any bars on windows in town and did not feel that there were any safety issues. We camped at Big Cypress RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls, Brandon, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed overnight on our way west on I-90. This park is just inside the South Dakota border, close to the interstate with easy on/off. We didn't hear road noise, but it rained most of the night we were there so we didn't have our windows open. We also were not able to enjoy being outdoors. The front desk staff and the escort staff were very nice. The site was a pull through so we didn't need to disconnect our "toad". Would definitely stay here again. Rate reflects FMCA discount. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.

Badlands Interior Motel & Campground, Interior, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

As described by other reviewers, this campground is in poor repair. Ground is covered with "stickers" and is full of weeds of various heights. It does not look to have been mowed for a very long time. The office staff is supposed to be in from 9AM to 5 PM. They are very seldom there and it is difficult to even pay your bill if you are going out to see the sights. It is very quiet and out of the way. We cooked inside to avoid the weeds and stickers. Would probably not stay here again. We camped at Badlands Interior Motel & Campground in a Motorhome.
