Highly recommend this campground. We made our reservations in January for a two week stay and asked for a shaded site with full hookups. Our site was perfect. Shaded and well maintained. The whole campground was well laid out and fun to walk around. There is a site for everyone's personal needs. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere of the campground was pleasant and family friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

We called ahead to reserve three sites for a Memorial Day weekend with friends. We had a 30' motorhome, 26' travel trailer and a 27' fifth wheel. Directions to the park where easy to follow and the entrance pleasing to the eye. This was the first time for all of us to this campground. We had sites beside each other and they were certainly more than any of us had hoped for. When we called to make reservations, these sites were recommended by the owners for our party. They were paved with one being a nice large site with a corner grassy area for socializing. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The owner and his wife were pleasant and very accommodating. We enjoyed an evening of live entertainment that was top notch. Large rec hall provided amble space for all and a great dance floor. The grounds were immaculate and we loved being able to walk around on paved roads. It was definitely soggy at some sites but that was to be expected after 10" of rain the week before. These sites were avoided. The roadways lent themselves nicely to kids riding their bikes safely around and the speed bumps keep the traffic at a slow pace. The overall ambiance of the campground was for safe and quiet family time. No big pools but a nice play area and room for games. The rec hall offered inside games and TV. The campground also offered an activity schedule if you chose to participate. There were quite a few seasonal sites but they were so quiet we didn't even know they were there. Talking with the seasonal folks was always enlighting and friendly. They offered their expertise in places in the area to visit and to avoid. But always were pleasant and courteous. We enjoyed our visit so much we reserved two weeks in July for our summer vacation and again a weekend in the fall to enjoy the live entertainment again. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

This campground has been a family destination for many many years. We have brought our three children here along with their friends and seen them all grow to love camping and continue the tradition themselves. Some sites are larger and not so close together. There are many sites that area not on top of each other and offer good privacy. The owners continue to make improvements to the campground year after year. The campground sits amongst the pines and are well-maintained gravel roads. Great area for walking and getting good exercise. The owners are very friendly. It is a family-run campground and has been for many years. The staff is always extremely helpful and courteous. They offer two swimming pools, a basketball court and rec hall area. They also offer family-orientated movies in the evening at their open pavilion as well as hayrides around the campground. When in doubt as to where to go, how to get there, or what to do; you only need to ask and they will give you advice or find out for you. This is a top notch campground in the very busy Lake George area that offers peace and quiet after the hubbub of downtown Lake George. A family oasis for spending time together!

This campground is at the top of our list. We have enjoyed going there for over thirty years. They have grown and made improvements every year. This is truly a quiet family campground. They offer just the right amount of activities for children without taking away from quality family time. The facilities are always clean and user friendly. The movies are family oriented. The only downside~the traffic noise is close to only some of the campsites and if you are in right section of this spacious campground you don't hear any traffic. The owners go out of their way to make your visit pleasant. They are a second generation owner-operated campground. We will continue to go there every year. Highly recommend this campground to anyone interested in a positive camping experience.

We visited Strawberry Park in May of 2005. We made reservations ahead of time even though it was May and it was Monday thru Wednesday reservation. We had visited this campground roughly twenty years ago. It was a wonderful place to take our children and they enjoyed themselves and the activities. So we were anxious to return. We talked our friends into going with us. Man, was that a mistake. We were the only campers there who were not on a permanent site. Our sites appeared to be in a new area. There wasn't a blade of grass in sight. It was a mudhole!! There were other sites at the campground which would have been nicer and were not occupied but they put us in this open area for some unknown reason. We were assured the hot tubs were available when we called for reservations. They weren't of course. Also, the pool wasn't open. We were not offered any explanation or any type of discount because these features were not available. The bathrooms were deplorable - dark and dingy. Then we found out that our little Bichon was not allowed off our site! She didn't understand why she was quarantined to the camper for three full days. We are responsible dog owners and were happy to pick up our dog's messes and had planned on doing so. However, there was a cat roaming around the grounds. The picnic tables were probably originals from our stay back in the 80's. All in all, it was the worst camping trip we had ever had. Our poor friends in their motorhome couldn't believe it was the same place we had to described to them. Needless to say, we will never go back there again.
