Sunny Ridge RV/MH Park, Jordan Valley, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Park is a little run down as the owner is 88 per a long conversation with him and he does not get around as well as he used to. He is currently trying to sell the park and according to him the area is known for rock hounding. The grass sites were large enough, level and no problems with any of the hook ups. We just stopped for the night but would not hesitate to stay longer. We camped at Sunny Ridge RV/MH Park in a Travel Trailer.

Willow Springs Motel & RV Park, Bridgeport, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This park is on a hill side so each site is terraced. Mine being the bottom site was not as level as the rest based on the single level block beneath their tires compared to the 7 we had to use to level the trailer! The park was quite clean and pretty well laid out. This is a family owned and run place and the lady who waited on me had lived in the area for 80+ years so she was a wealth of info on what to see and do. Even where to go get the best apple pie!!! We camped at Willow Springs Motel & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Indian Flat RV Park, El Portal, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this park as it was the closest to Yosemite entrance. The park was clean and the other guests were quiet. You are right next to the road, so traffic noise is present day and night. The park is on a hill side, so the sites are terraced up the hill with two sites back to back. The sites are back in, so you either have to drive to the top and back down and turn your trailer 90 degrees to park or do the same but push your trailer up the hill then 90 degrees into the site. Of course if you are lucky and no one is in the site behind you, you can just treat it like a pull through coming in from the other unoccupied site. I was hoping to be able to upload a copy of the RV site map here so it would make more sense but I don't see a way to do it. The hardest part of staying here is the office is not good at picking up the phone when you call to make reservations or returning call, emails etc. Took a post on their Facebook (which only they can see) and almost 4 wks to get a hold of anyone! We camped at Indian Flat RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bird Track Springs Campground, La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here over the Labor Day long weekend. Great forest service campground. No hook-ups but very nice forest settings. Great hiking trails. The sites are quite spacious and on the lower end quite far a part. Has vault toilets and the campground looks like you are just boondocking as there is no grass just forest vegetation around your site. Very quiet park with very dark nights so the stars are just lighting up the sky. Will be back to this little jewel! We camped at Bird Track Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Red Bridge State Wayside, La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. All 10 RV sites are back-in and the park is right next to road, but traffic noise was very low during our stay. There are 10 tent sites as well. Really nice partial secluded picnicking next to the Grand Rhonde river. Great fishing during the spring/early summer months. Lots of well kept grass for the kids. This is a first come first serve park. La Grande is not too far away if you need something. We camped at Red Bridge State Wayside in a Travel Trailer.
