Have stayed here before for overnight stop. Easy access to I-55. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a nice, level, pull through site with full hook ups. Sites plenty long for leaving toad hooked up. There is grass between the sites, but the sites are fairly close together. There are a few small trees, so not much shade, but also does not interfere with satellite reception. The park is clean and well maintained. Will probably stay here again if in area.

This is a family run campground and sometimes the kids behind the register do not know what they are doing. We had a pull through, packed gravel FHU site which was fairly level, the front did dip slightly but did not have problems pulling forward to leave. When you pull in to register you have to make a "U" turn to get into the campground. The campground is quiet and there is no road noise since it is down country roads. This campground has an arcade room, pool & other children's activities. Reminded us of a Jellystone Park.

Great COE park, probably the best we've stayed in. West Overlook is at base of the dam and right on the river. Sites are mostly back-in, but long with concrete pads and we had FHU. Some shade trees, but did not interfere with satellite reception. Nice quiet area. Will stay there again when in area.

Very nice COE park on the Mark Twain Lake. The camping loops are about a mile or more from the gate. Gate attendants friendly and helpful. Park was clean. The roads were paved and the long pads were asphalt and a little narrow, but there is a lot of space between sites and each has a fire ring, picnic table, and lantern post. Most sites are back-in. Lots of mature trees. No sites are on or near the lake, so no view to speak of. We had a problem with our cell and internet service-NONE-even though there are cell towers in vicinity. However we discovered that area of MO is in a "Dead Zone" according to the helpful people at the Walmart in Hannibal.

Stayed there for a Passport America Rally. It is a fairground campground, but not the nightly camping area which is at the front of the fairgrounds. We were parked in the big "rally area" with full hook ups. Have stayed there twice (both for large rallies) and both times we were parked in same area with broken electrical. Sites are grass and when it rained, several people were stuck and had to be pulled out. Were there over Jul 4 so had good view of the city fireworks.

Have stayed at campground before and will stay again when in area. Nice area, clean park. Large, level sites. Shady. Close to Walmart and other amenities. Friendly, helpful staff.

Check-in was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sites are very long, but a bit close together. Sites are all concrete with a small patio that contain a table and chairs, some table with umbrella. There was grass between the sites, but no shade. Clubhouse was beautiful and so was the pool. Will stay there again if occasion arises.

Very nice park, friendly staff and workers. Sites have level concrete pads with picnic table. Some sites have shade trees. Nice views of the lake. Easy drive into town and other towns close by. Liked the security of a gate, however they did lock it early. A few long term MH in park, mostly at the premium sites which have outdoor kitchens. Would stay again when in area.

Date of Stay:

Sites gravel and level, shade trees, 2 rally halls, cable, Wi-Fi, friendly helpful staff. Nicely laid out with small Koi pond with a water fall and seating at back of park. Close to shopping, easy in and out. Would stay there again.

Rate is National Park Senior Pass rate. Sites are relatively level crushed stone and wooded with large crushed stone "patios". There are picnic tables, fire rings and grills at most sites. We had preregistered and on arrival we stopped in the preregistered line as instructed, but the attendant did not want us parked there and was not very nice about telling us to move. Quiet at night and the sites are far enough apart that you have privacy almost everywhere. The sites are very diverse, but the website has a nice map of the sites with lengths noted for each site. A gate locks the park from 10:30 pm till 7:00 am. We would stay again if in area.

Stayed here for Passport America Rally, so our rate reflects the campsite, meals, entertainment, and seminars. The campground itself is very well maintained with relatively level gravel sites and easy in & out. No extra amenities, but right next to Tom Johnson's RV Sales & Service is problems arise. Close to interstate, shopping and restaurants. Would stay there again if in area.

Rate is Passport America. We were the first guests of the season and the restrooms were not open as yet. Even though the campground is right off the highway, it was quiet. The owners were very friendly and offered suggestions of what to see in the area. This is a very nice little RV park. Very convenient to all the area offers. Not sure what previous reviewers were referring to when they remarked about tight spots. We had plenty of room between coaches to extend our awning, unless they were referring to the mature trees at the sites. Our site was next to the creek which made it very picturesque. We would stay there again if in the area.

Rate is not the advertised rate. When we talked to them on the phone, they let us know that the price was due to Bike Week in Daytona. We took it anyway since we needed a place to stay close to friends in the area. It is very rustic and has a well stocked bass pond, but since we are not fishermen, we didn't care. They advertise "full" RV hookups. To a certain degree this is true. They have water, sewer, and electric hookups. When we made the reservations we told them 50 amp, but on arrival they gave us 30 amp. Looked like most of their RV sites are long term and some have been there a very long time. The sewer hook up was too small to handle the volume of water, and sewage overflowed onto the ground before we could shut off the valves. We had to back into our site since the people in the cabin next to us had their truck in the way and we were parked right on the road so we could not put out our outdoor chairs. We will not stay here again.

Rate is Good Sam. Camped here for a quick overnight stay. All hookups worked fine and the Wi-Fi worked for us just fine as well. Very easy off and back on I-10 and right across the street from a Publix Grocery. The staff was very friendly. The only drawback to be was that the sites were a little close and we had to unhook our toad in order to make a turn since our site was out in the front of the park. We would stay here again if in area.

Rate is Good Sam. The owner was very friendly and accommodating since when we called we asked for one night and on arrival we had decided on two nights. We had to back in for the two night stay, but that was no problem since we were going to unhook the car anyway. The drive into the park was a little tight since it was down a narrow two lane street, but the RV sites had everything, including individual trash bins. There is a lake by the park, but did not see any sites on the lake. Lots of mature trees. Would stay there again considering the park is within 30 minutes of the major attractions in the area.
