Thousand Trails - Palm Springs RV Resort, Palm Desert, California

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a few days, but it seemed cramped and the interstate was so close,m that's all I heard. Its a good stop off for the TT members, if sites are available. Have to reserve ahead in the winter, that's for sure. We camped at Thousand Trails - Palm Springs RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Malibu Beach RV Park, Malibu, California

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

I agree, its pricey but its great staying here and hearing/seeing the ocean. I liked watching the dolphins and the huge tankers on the horizon. Its a nice park, small tight sites for a 40 footer. The staff are very nice and we enjoyed our stay. We camped at Malibu Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Page Springs Park, Cornville, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is on our list of available campgrounds we can go to, but its hard to get in with a 40 footer. Its nice though, close to the winery's. Good for a few days and nice to go to Sedona and see the beautiful red rock country. We camped at Page Springs Park in a Motorhome.

Rio Verde RV Park, Cottonwood, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 40 footer. We paid more for a "river view" site because that was all they had. The river could not be seen. It was somewhere to the west of us. It was convenient though to Sedona and was fine for a few days. Seemed to have a lot of regulars here. We camped at Rio Verde RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sunrise RV Resort (55+ park), Apache Junction, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed ourselves. Though the season was winding down, we still had a good time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful if you needed help. All the staff and the managers were very friendly. The resort was very clean and maintained with many obvious recent updating. The showers, exercise room, laundry, pool and spa were newly remodeled. The buildings were very accessible. There's a pet section and a dog run. Pet people are always friendly. Its a nice sized resort (more park models than Rv sites) with a lot of activities. Good Sam discount under 7 days. We camped at Sunrise RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
