Devil's Fork State Park, Salem, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2006 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Overall nice state park. Rangers seem overwhelmed, provided us with the wrong access code for gate which is locked nightly at 9pm. Forced me, husband and 4 little kids to hike a mile back to our camper at 2 in the morning. Must drive or hike to lake for fishing. Only 2 trails. I think better options in the area but this park is clean with nicely done wooded sites. We camped at Devil's Fork State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2005 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed our week here and agree with most everything others have said. Would consider this a family type campground except for a couple of park hosts who growled at our boys for minor things. Mostly the camp hosts were friendly and helpful. They have a few planned activities (mainly for adults). Loved the Tuesday morning pancake breakfast. We camped at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park in a Tent Trailer.
