Pine Ridge Campground, Roebuck, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park. Great owners, very present and active in the park. Super clean bathrooms. We camped on their buddy site with friends, which served us well but may be strange if you didn't know the people sharing the site. Many of the campers are seasonal but it was a friendly place to stay. My children very much enjoyed the pool which was also well maintained. The owners are also actively making improvements to make the park better. This was a great home base for exploring Greenville and Spartanburg. We would camp here again. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Travel Trailer.

James Island County Park, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Our favorite campground year after year. My family camps here each June and November for long weekends and extended stays. Always clean. Beautiful shaded sites and so much to do. Without leaving the park we are entertained for days. But in addition to the parks amenities, downtown Charleston is 10 minutes in one direction and Folly Beach is under 10 minutes in the other direction. The Holiday Lights festival is not to be missed. Reserve early as the park fills up fast, especially on special occasions. We are spending Thanksgiving here this year and cannot wait. We camped at James Island County Park in a Travel Trailer.
