Albuquerque Central KOA, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly group. The older fellow that guides you into your space at night is a wealth of information. He can help you locate anything nearby, in or out of town. Wi-Fi was a pretty good connection - obviously not Tengo Internet yet like many KOAs. If you love petrified wood? This place has a great collection to see. The putt putt golf course could use some work but they are fixing things up some and adding new features to this KOA. We were here during "monsoon season" for NM. It rained and thundered all night - LOVED IT!! Took videos and posted them on Facebook. Good times. We camped at Albuquerque Central KOA in a Motorhome.

For the area, this "Kampground" was very nice. Wi-Fi was pretty good and not Tengo like other KOA Kampgrounds. Great access to I-40. We were pleased enough we stayed for an additional 2 nights. We camped at Tucumcari KOA in a Motorhome.
