Blue Sky RV Park, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were amazed. Low season. Lots of available sites. Passport rate everywhere in the are was $19 range but the charged us $32 because our RV was 40 feet long. The same site with a shorter camper would have been much less. RIDICULOUS!! Shame on them. It's not a place for overnighting in high season. All seasonal rentals. We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Motorhome.

Butte KOA, Butte, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We paid for a premium site. What a joke. We were so close to our neighbors we couldn't even use our grill. There was not a blade of grass, just dirt and rocks. What I didn't understand was why there were other sites that were wider, nicer, with grass yet they jammed us with others into a part of the park when there were other options. We camped at Butte KOA in a Motorhome.

Eagle's Nest Resort, Ilwaco, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The office staff was rude. The cable tv was terrible. Our site was next to a slight incline so when the slides were open we couldn't walk along the side to get to our car and could barely open the front door. We were in an area of total trees which made everything so dark and final it was depressing. First thought it was like a state campground. NOT. the upper level was treeless but sites very close to each other. If you have the right site it could be an ok place. Buildings were old. Pool building rusted. Wouldn't go back. We camped at Eagle's Nest Resort in a Motorhome.

No sewer hook up but such a wonderful place if you like being in the woods. We were able to get satellite in our space. We wouldn't go any other place. We camped at South Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina, Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is NOT an RV park. It's a fishing camp! Unless you are on the waterfront sites there is not only no view, but for almost half the sites you have a view of their big powder blue storage sheds. The waterfront sites are never available as the same people get them year after year and stay for the whole summer. So forget that idea. The area with shade trees are not full hookup sites. The place is dirt, gravel, dried grass, and only once in two weeks did I see anyone picking up bits of litter and cigarette buts. The staff is very nice and the location is terrific. It's nice to walk into town. There aren't any rules so the place is a mass of trailers, boats, tents, and canvas porches the long-termers set up. We won't stay here again. When you're in such a magnificent place as the Oregon coast why look at a shed? We camped at Port of Siuslaw Campground and Marina in a Motorhome.

Seward Waterfront Park, Seward, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is an amazing place. We were fortunate to get a front row space. The sites are huge. The view is spectacular. Loved having fire pits in front of our coach plus a perfect black top bike path which goes from town to the harbor and beyond. I can't think of a better place to stay in Seward. We camped at Seward Waterfront Park in a Motorhome.

Crystal Cove Resort and RV Park, Tofino, British Columbia

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

If I could give this more than a 10, I would. Truly the most beautiful park I have ever been in. Gorgeous grounds, flowers, garden, stream with little water fall, wonderful play area for the children, beach access, and the nicest people with the most wonderful friendly attitude. The sites are surrounded by giant trees- very private feeling. BUT if you have a larger motorhome, be sure to make reservations as they have very few long sites. This should be the model for all RV parks. We camped at Crystal Cove Resort and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park), Gila Bend, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

What a delight to find such a lovely park in the middle of the desert. Wide, long, level sites, trees, plants. Terrific people. Wonderful location/highway access. Perfect spot for overnight or longer in better time of year. We will definitely come again when in the area. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. The rate based on Passport then added $2 for 50amp, $2 for cable TV, then $2 to wash our coach. The place is dirty, dusty, electric poles crossing through it, no grass, just dirt and gravel. Terrible. I would never come back here. I would gladly have paid more and stayed elsewhere, had I known. We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Pontchartrain Landing, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a 10. It is "paved" with crushed white rock that was hard to walk on, messy (white dust all over). There is a view but of a ship yard and old crumbling buildings. Between the sites are piles of mulch with very nice plants, but the rocks and mulch are fighting to see who wins the edges. The result is constant adding either mulch or rock. Couldn't find an appropriate spot to put out a chair. We were in a pull-through. Had we been on the water in a back in site we would have had a bit a level grass. Also, had to take our laundry in town because they didn't have enough machines. This park has a long way to go. Luckily we used Passport America. We camped at Pontchartrain Landing in a Motorhome.

Peach Queen Campground, Jemison, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Large pull through sites. Big trees but open enough for dish TV. Lots of grass between sites, plus space to run the dog. Lovely older couple own it who could not have been nicer. Stayed on our way up and back. Located just off highway, easy access. The only thing missing were picnic tables at some sites. Definitely a good stopping place. We camped at Peach Queen Campground in a Motorhome.

Bakersfield Travel Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Our only complaint was that 95% of the park is for long term and most of the RVs were very old. I would not go out of my way to come here, but in pinch it is fine. We camped at Bakersfield Travel Park in a Motorhome.

What a lovely park! Grassy area between each site with flower beds all in bloom. Plenty of space for pull through and space between sites. Clean bathrooms and laundry room. We would go to Missoula again just to stay there! We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Motorhome.
