Denver East / Strasburg KOA, Strasburg, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We have traveled for the last month and this is the most expensive campground we have been at and the most unsatisfactory. Very close sites, the whole park is gravel and road noise is loud. The sites are not 70' long, 50 at the most. The wifi is almost non exist because they said someone is streaming. They told me wifi is free so no discount. When wifi is advertised I assume it's part of the price you pay for the site. Would not return here. We camped at Denver East / Strasburg KOA in a Motorhome.

South Bay RV Campground, South Bay, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park. Very clean and great sites. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because it's a little remote. Clewiston is 10 miles up the road. The little towns around this park also impressed me on how clean they are. We will definitely return.I believe this is a county park. Wi-fi fast and cable was good too. We camped at South Bay RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Whittington Woods Campground, Whittington, Illinois

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park. New owners are very friendly and you can see all the fresh improvements. A lot of trees but all trimmed so no worry about hitting them with your rig. Chickens free roaming but no rooster which is a favorite sound of mine. I would definitely return. We camped at Whittington Woods Campground in a Motorhome.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

A really nice park. Surrounded by the San Juan National Forest and mountains. The sites are side by side and a little close. The only drawback I saw was sharing a grassy area but it beats having someone's sewer hose by your picnic table. The park is clean and restrooms spotless. We were close to Mesa Verde and the Durango Train ride. This park had a Durango address and it is only about 2 miles to the nearest store. I would definitely come back, I felt very comfortable here. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Great RV park. A view of the mountains in every site. The landscape is what you find out west. They have some flowers that are very pretty. The sunsets are breathtaking. The sites are a little close but had no trouble parking the rig and didn't see anyone else having trouble either. The showers and restrooms are super clean. Very nice laundromat. A great walking path around the park. There is a kitchen and lounge area available for the guest. Also a little store with some supplies and souvenirs. The office staff is very helpful and there is loads of local information available. We did a lot of day trips from here, the location is great. Restaurants and shopping start about 5 miles down the road. Some things are hard to find because a lot of the business is in shopping plazas. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.
