Destiny Parks and Pavillion (Military FamCamp), Fort Campbell, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The park was quiet, clean, not crowded. I love the sound of helicopters and enjoy seeing them. The skeet shooting was on the weekend so wasn't troublesome. We could not get our satellite to work, but that was okay as we watched the numerous deer instead. Lovely little spot. We camped at Destiny Parks and Pavillion (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

I went onto Ft Campbell to the commissary and to the shopette for groceries. The Donald Pratt 101st Museum is on the way to the commissary. We ate lunch at The Sportsman's Lodge. There are several trails.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park was level and not bumpy which is important to me. The laundry room was clean and had plenty of washers and dryers and a change machine. It was disconcerting to be located so close to a petroleum storage facility; however, it was nice that all the travelers were located in a different area than the monthly rate residents. This is not a destination RV park, but I was okay with it for an overnight or two. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Island KOA, Doniphan, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The park is okay although the highway changed to a gravel road almost immediately after coming off the interstate. The actual entry into the park is very bumpy. There were potholes that necessitate going about 2 mph. I would not stay here again because I am worried about breaking an axle. The whole, no cable TV was irritating although a few local channels could be picked up. We used our satellite but couldn't get Sunday night football on NBC. The employees are friendly and told me where to find a local runza restaurant. We camped at Grand Island KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
