Stayed here for the second time and it just gets better, We had site 78, level, nice woods, and an inlet view. Easy to get my 35' RV in with room to spare. Can't say enough about camp host who are friendly and helpful. I saw him and his wife many times and he was always there to lend a hand. I am coming back.

My first visit to this park and I have to say that it is one of the nicest state parks I have had the pleasure of visiting, We had site 29 next to the lake, view was awesome, lots of room between sites and easy back in. The only down side and its not parks fault they are trying to solve it is ants, I had some ant powder and it took care of it. I will be back again, and again.

Nice park and very clean, large sites with many pull throughs. Lake was beautiful this time of year with the fall colors all around. Lots of activities to do. I gave it a 9 for two reasons. 1. the park was full and they decided to close area # 3 and cram everyone in 1&2. 2. the park camp host acted like we were bothering him and was rude to my wife when we wanted to purchase wood from him. Other than that I would come back here again.

It is a beautiful place to camp for the weekend with lots of shade trees and easy site access. There is no sewer, but I knew that going in. The lake was very low due to drought, but it is still a wonderful place to go. Top of my return list.

First time visiting this campground and let me start by saying if you are into boating this is the place for you. After arriving we were placed in a site way too small for my trailer (34 ft.), went back to office and was given a second site, still too small. Went back a third time and was sent to area # 2, 90% of the sites had cars and trucks parked in it with boat trailers and they were all camping spots, several had tents in a full hook up site; had to settle for a site way in the front just so I can get into one. Now..took a ride around the entire place, not too clean, most of the tent sites had trash on the ground, grass uncut, my site had trash on the ground also. The saving factor was the price, very good for such a large park, and it is very quiet. Would I return to this campground? Most likely not.

I would have given this park a higher rating if it wasn't for the inconsiderate people doing clean up work on a Saturday. All day we had to listen to leaf blowers and tractors. Come on, could that not have been done on a week day? Other than that, the park is very nice. Has large lots and is easy to get in and out. Has plenty of space between sites as not to feel crowded. Park office people are friendly and there is a area to see different farm animals. The lake is nice also with boat rentals. So there is plenty to do.

This is a rustic and very quiet campground. The people are the most friendly I have ever met, I had small mishap with my trailer and everyone near to me came to help, they went out of there way to make sure things were taken care of. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sites are far enough apart and pretty easy to get into although some are slightly not level but is not a problem. Roads are not paved but are well packed down and not a problem getting through. Cable TV and Wi-Fi worked great. This is one I would keep going back too.

Nice "rustic" sites. The sites are far enough apart from the other roads you can barely see other RV's, as for each side of you there is enough room not to feel crowded. Sites are clean for the most part, there is no trash just can be blown off from leaves and such from time to time. Never saw the camp host, although I heard him drive by one time. I gave it 8 stars for that fact and the cleanliness of the sites and host not being around.

We stayed here from Saturday till Monday. When we first arrived, the park was very crowded and spaces were limited, but we came with a reservation and was able to get a spot. The park is very clean, enough space between sites as not to feel crowded. The camp host was most friendly and helpful. Was easy to get any size rig in most spots, some are smaller though, and there are a few pull throughs. Only down side I saw was: it is a first come, first served place, so there could be a tent in a big rig site and the host can do nothing to help to move them. 50amp is available but like I said, someone in a small travel trailer could be here and not give it up, so get here early. You will love this park.

Nice park, clean. The only down sides are the lots are too close to each other and it is very hard to get a large travel trailer in most sites although you can do it. The lodge is nice and offer food service which is good if you don't want to cook. They charge you $5.00 a night for pets which I think is a little steep and there are cats and dogs roaming around all sites unleashed. All in all I would probably stay there again but it will be down on my list of places in that area just for the fact of tight spots.

Very nice park, well maintained. We stay there a lot and love this park. Sites are easy to get into and are far enough apart from the others that you don't feel crowded. If you are looking for a good get away location this is it, Georgia state parks are tops.
