Salinas / Monterey KOA, Prunedale, California

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The advertisement for this facility is contrary to the actual RV park. The access is not accommodating to RVs and the signage is poor. The fee of $60 is grossly OVERPRICED. We have camped at many RV Resorts and this KOA is basically a parking lot with hookups. The sites are too narrow for slideouts. The sites are directly across from a Chevron station and the 101 freeway. This made a very noisy stay. I would not recommend this facility nor would I return. We camped at Salinas / Monterey KOA in a Motorhome.

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort, Pismo Beach, California

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Although the sites are not overly large, they are nice. The facilities are always clean and they have a beautiful pool and friendly service. Easy access to the beach and a short walk to the pier and town make this a great place to stay. We were very happy with the accommodations and will definitely return in the near future. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Harris Beach State Park, Brookings, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

What a beautiful and well maintained park. The sites were large and relatively flat. The views of the beach are fabulous and it is an easy walk to the beach. There is a path/bikeway to the nearby town. The restrooms were clean and well kept. This park even has a laundry facility that was clean and in good working order. The campground sells firewood and an enterprising entrepreneur comes by to sell ice and ice cream. A great place to stay and I would definitely return again! We camped at Harris Beach State Park in a Motorhome.
