Railroad Park RV Resort, Dunsmuir, California

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The park was very wooded and somewhat clean. The RV park is about a quarter of a mile from the caboose motel owned and operated by same management. The problem is that management only visited the RV park once is awhile, leaving patrons to fend for themselves and do as they please. Definitely not a destination park. Will rule it out as a overnight stay but. Did not like showering with the frogs in the shower. Spots need to be leveled, stating you better have some blocks to level your RV. We camped at Railroad Park RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Winchester Bay RV Resort, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Large park, but well laid out and well maintained. We were unable to obtain our preferred spot, but the sites assigned was still very nice. Washroom/showers are modern, and kept clean. Office staff was unfriendly. Still, on balance, this is a good park, a beautiful area, and worth a visit. Oh, and BTW, Winchester Bay appears to be the dune buggy capital of the world. We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Chinook Bend RV Resort, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet and off Hwy 101, 3 miles, easy to find. Has a half mile rock road to campground from the office very muddy when it rains. Sites are mostly level. There were no animals in the campground. The 50 amp sites are all rock. 30 amp sites have grass. Some shade. No internet or Wi-Fi in the campground. Some cable TV channels had very poor reception. Walking trails needed much TLC. "Golf Course" was a lawnmower path 5' wide ran through a pasture of grass 18" high. They called it "Pitch and Chip" and charged extra. Had docks and a boat ramp. Nice fish camp but we weren't here during fishing season. Park needs some care taken to it. Would not stay there again. We camped at Chinook Bend RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Sandy Riverfront RV Resort, Troutdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, RV park adjacent to the Sandy River. Some train noise. There are some long term residents but all sites are kept neat and clean. Office only opens at 11 AM and is not open on Sunday but there is a check-in station at entrance. If arriving when office is not open, first night must be paid in cash. Laundry requires tokens available at office. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Driftwood RV Park & Resort, Boardman, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is an OK park for an Overnight stay. There were a lot of workers there that had no respect for the other RVer's. If you get far enough away from them you are OK. Wi-Fi was Iffy had to go to the antenna to get connected. We camped at Driftwood RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Granite Lake Premier RV Resort, Clarkston, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is an outstanding park with outstanding service! Quiet, a Costco and Wal-Mart close by. I have been there two times and have enjoyed my stay. The Snake River is right before you. There is a nice breeze in the evening to help alleviate the flying pests. The campground is one of four in the family, all well taken care of and staffed with the just the right people. Showers and laundry room were cleaned everyday. Where does one get a paper delivered to their front step every morning but Sunday and an ice maker in the laundry room for the occupants. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is an OK RV park, though they need more bathrooms to accommodate the park. Sites are OK, required some leveling. No money back if you leave early just a rain check to come back. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Trail In RV Campground, Lakehead, California

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

The cost reflects passport. This is the most rundown RV park I have been in the locals were all at the office which is 80% of the RV Park a broken down ransacked trailer meets you at the entrance and everything goes down from there would not send my worst enemy there. We camped at Trail In RV Campground in a Motorhome.
