Pecan Park Riverside RV , San Marcos, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a week. The park is awesome and the staff are very helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience. The granddaughter really enjoyed the indoor pool. On two occasions when I asked the staff for recommendations about places to go and good places to eat they were very helpful. We decided to stay out from under the trees so our satellite would work. Didn't really need the satellite as the cable works well. In the summer, you will definitely want to stay under the trees if possible to help with the summer heat. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Pecan Park Riverside RV in a Motorhome.

Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in this park for a week during Thanksgiving holiday. I have stayed at camp grounds and RV resorts all over the country, and this is maybe the best I have ever stayed at. The grounds and the park itself are immaculate, the staff are friendly and professional. We have visited the Kerrville area many times but this is our first time in this park. I will definitely not be our last. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are many things to see and do around Kerrville, as well as the surrounding area. If time permits, make a trip to Comfort, Tx. It's about 20 miles outside of Kerrville. Neat little town with some good restaurants and friendly folks.

Pecan Park Riverside RV , San Marcos, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

A great place to stop for a few nights or longer. The sites are level and plenty long, all utilities worked as they should, and the staff went out of their way to offer advice on places to go and things to see in the area. We will be back in the summer when it's warmer to take advantage of the tubing down the river. We camped at Pecan Park Riverside RV in a Motorhome.

Durant / Choctaw Casino KOA, Durant, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground. Wide and level concrete pull through sites. Everybody is friendly and helpful. We had a power problem at our site (weak breaker 50 amp), not a problem as the weather was cool so we could run off of the 30 amp plug. Reported it to the office at 9 at night so it would be fixed for the next camper. To my surprise, a maintenance guy showed up at my site in about 15 minutes and changed out the breaker. Now that's awesome service. We camped at Durant / Choctaw Casino KOA in a Motorhome.

Tall Pines Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Awesome campground. Great level sites that are well shaded and roomy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. This campground is slightly off the beaten path, so there was no city noise to contend with. The only negative is the interior roads could use some work, but they seem to be constantly making improvements. Didn't use the restrooms or showers so I can't comment on those facilities. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Branson. We camped at Tall Pines Campground in a Motorhome.

Pecan Park Riverside RV , San Marcos, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground right in the middle of a pecan orchard. Off the highway so the campground is quiet except for the sound of the the San Marcos river running right beside the campground, which is an awesome sound. The Wi-Fi worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The campground is centrally located in a great area to explore. There are many small towns a short distance from the campground to explore. We will be back! We camped at Pecan Park Riverside RV in a Motorhome.

Palo Duro RV Park, Canyon, Texas

Overall Rating:

This is a good campground for a night or two stay in the Canyon area. Level sites that are long enough that you don't have to unhook your tow if you don't want too. Good electric and water pressure. We camped at Palo Duro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Route 66 RV Park, Edgewood, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This may someday be a nice campground, but not yet. They are indeed doing a lot of work so right now you can only expect dirt sites that are mostly not very level. The only staff encountered was the guy collecting money. He walked up to the site, said that will be $30 cash, got his money and walked away. I guess not everybody is friendly. As far as 50 amp service, I couldn't find any. I walked around and checked several sites, could only find 30 amp. For an overnight stay, close to I-40, this will do. Nothing more, nothing less. We camped at Route 66 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Railside RV Ranch, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park, convenient to I-40, near enough to town, and on the highway to the Grand Canyon. The lady at the front desk was possibly the friendliest person we have encountered and without a doubt the most knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon. She gave us tips on things to do that we would have easily missed being first timers to the canyon. All the staff we encountered were just outstanding. The sites are level, long, with good power. Heck, they even have a free continental breakfast. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. We camped at Railside RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Coffee Creek RV Resort, Santo, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

What a great campground. Less than a mile off of I-20, it's close and convenient. This park is laid out correctly so any big rig will have no problem navigating the park and any of the sites, which are level and long. Interior roads are in great shape. The people in the office and the park are the friendliest we have ever encountered. Not one thing bad to say. We will return. We camped at Coffee Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Hardeeville RV, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for a pretty park with lots of amenities, this is not it. However, the sites are wide, level, and pull-through. Never met or saw any staff. Made all the arrangements over the phone, dropped the money in the slot and stayed our two days. This is the closest and most convenient park to downtown Savannah. This park served it's purpose very nicely. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Motorhome.

Flynn's Inn Camping Village, Augusta, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Although this is not a pretty park, it is very convenient to the city as well as traveling down I-20. The manager met us as we drove in and directed us to our site, made sure we knew where everything was, and gave us several recommendations on places to eat near the park. Sites are grass, pull-through, and level. We camped at Flynn's Inn Camping Village in a Motorhome.
