Paradise Stream Family Campground, Loysville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice clean campground, a little off the beaten path, but we like that. Sites are all gravel and no problems with being level. Each site has a permanent fire ring and picnic table. Wifi was surprisingly good compared to many campgrounds I have been at. It rained quite a bit the first day and a half and seems the campground has a good drainage set up as puddles did not last long. We would stay here again. We camped at Paradise Stream Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Scusset Beach State Reservation, Sagamore, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Just spent 10 days here visiting family in the area. Site was level and had no issue getting our new 42" 5th wheel into space #58 with room to spare. All of the sites are large and well spread apart. While we were there they had an issue with the hot water boiler in the rest rooms and were in the process of replacing. They had offered to allow us to reschedule, but we told them we had our own hot water and it would not be an issue. We camped at Scusset Beach State Reservation in a Fifth Wheel.

Would recommend getting sea food from Rock Bottom Sea Food in Cedarville which is about 10 minutes away from the camp ground.

Mitchell KOA, Mitchell, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We have used this campground a few times now as it is easily accessible to I90. Far enough away from the interstate so you don't hear the noise. Sites are gravel and easy to access. All sites are pull thru. Employees are friendly and helpful. All facilities are clean and well maintained. We would stay here again. We camped at Mitchell KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Jellystone Park on Barton Lake, Fremont, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

We needed a place to stay for a night and this was convenient. We knew going in that it being a resort park it would not be our cup of tea, but it was in the right place and was easy to access the interstate. That being said, we prefer non-resort parks as we are approaching retirement age. Sites were very small and very close together. The supposed pull-thru we were assigned was a true challenge to get into. If not for the open field behind the site I would have had to drive around and back into this site due to the placement of trees. Many seasonal folks there and they would park their vehicles where ever they wanted. We were next to a seasonal site and after we got settled they had a visitor just park behind us where I had pulled into the site. Could not be bothered with saying anything as we just needed a place to sleep for the night. This is why we don't do resort type parks. We would not stay here again. We camped at Jellystone Park on Barton Lake in a Travel Trailer.

Bodnarosa Motel and Campgrounds, Berwick, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

While researching a place to stay for a night on our way to New York I came upon this campground. With the great reviews I figured let's give it a shot. The campground is a true gem. Sites are all gravel and well drained. Size of the sites are quite nice and well laid out as you are not looking in anybody's windows. We camped at Bodnarosa Motel and Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Beaver Lake Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Visited Custer in 2011 and stayed here. We came back this year for a 2 week stay and decided on Beaver Lake from our past experience. Campground was in good condition overall. Considering the landscape the sites are all relatively level as I did not see people having to do much side to side adjustment. Wifi can be spotty depending on the time of day and how many users are connected and cell signals in the mountains are always flaky. If we had something we needed a cell signal for we would just walk to the top of the hill and it was fine. Overall I would chose to stay here again as the need to be connected does not outweigh the pleasant atmosphere at this campground. We camped at Beaver Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Many things to do and see in the town of Custer and the surrounding area. Devils Tower is only 2 hours away and don't miss all the wild life in Custer State Park.

Tri-State RV Park, Matamoras, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I know the previous reviewers have been hard on this camp ground, but I won't be as tough. We needed a place to stay for one night and this place was just what we needed. It is close to the highway, so it is a little noisy. All the hookups worked without issue. This would not be my choice for an extended stay, but as an overnight stop it works just fine. If we needed an overnight spot we would use this place again. We camped at Tri-State RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Wompatuck State Park, Hingham, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the loop with electric on the sites. Restrooms were in need of being remodeled as they are old, but were being well maintained. Some sites are small and may not fit all size RV's. Most sites are wooded and will have a good amount of shade throughout the day. We would stay here again. We camped at Wompatuck State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Balsam Woods Campground, Abbot Village, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful camp ground. Sites are large and well spaced out. Even though there was heavy rain for the first day we were here, the roads and sites did not get muddy. All hook ups worked flawlessly. This camp ground is only about 30 minutes from Moosehead Lake for some great fishing. We would not hesitate to return. We camped at Balsam Woods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Assateague Island National Seashore, Berlin, Maryland

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 4 nights for our very first trip in our travel trailer in the Bayside loop. The sites are well maintained. All roads and sites are paved and in good condition. There is water and a dump station available as there are no hook ups. Flies and mosquitoes could be a problem here in the summer so we would only want to stay here in the spring or fall. We did not have any problem with either during our stay. We will be camping here again. We camped at Assateague Island National Seashore in a Travel Trailer.
