Sac West RV Park and Campground, West Sacramento, California

This was previously a KOA. It looks like they are trying to brighten it up but it has a long way to go. We camped at Sac West RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Iron Horse RV Resort, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Maybe my expectations were too high from the high quality website. Spots are clean gravel with enough room for slides. But, this is primarily a full time trailer park with cute little children running freely around and the full timers across from us have a full garage worth of stuff outside their trailer including laundry baskets. The pool is the size of a large spa, and the spa is the size of a big bathtub. Disappointed. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Desert Oasis Mobile Home & RV Resort, Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is hard to rate because services are fine. The main thing to know is this is not an RV park, but an older mobile home park where they put RVs on unoccupied mobile home sites. This provides pretty roomy decomposed gravel spaces. The office is only open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from 10-2 in the off season. When we arrived Tuesday we were met at the locked gate and directed to the assigned spot and told come to the office the next day. Manager was very nice the next day, but we had to wait a day to get the Wi-Fi code, which works well. It is an okay place to hang out and about a 20 minute drive to Palm Springs across the freeway, where you will want to go for restaurants and amenities. The mineral pool and three mineral spas are very nice. We camped at Desert Oasis Mobile Home & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Coyote Valley RV Resort, Morgan Hill, California

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice, fairly new, resort type park. It is well located for SF area, without the stress of getting too close. We spent the day today in Santa Cruz. Staff is very friendly, and the park escort was a pro. You set your bagged garbage out and it is taken for you when they make rounds. No opening stinky dumpsters. As stated in the other review, do not follow your GPS (or their Woodall ad) and exit on Bailey. Go to Cochrane and go north on Monterey Rd/Hwy. If you take Bailey you have to pass the park and unless you are a small Class C, you cannot make the u-turn to come back. Nice pool and spa, too. We camped at Coyote Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Spokane KOA, Spokane Valley, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA seems below the standards we expect at KOA. The amenities are here and function, and the service was fine, but overall it is fairly run down. I would consider it an overnighter. There is no propane available here to fill up. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Motorhome.

Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Other reviews are perfectly accurate. This park is scenic, immaculate, and conveniently located to the freeway. The hosts make you feel as if you are long lost friends. It was fairly full due to Memorial Day, when the town offers Montana's biggest flea market. Because they have a large dog park, it has more dogs than I have seen anyplace, but they make sure they are managed. We would definitely stop here again for a night, or for a while. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times and no doubt will again. It is clean, friendly and very close to the freeway. It is disappointing to find that they no longer include free Wi-Fi. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV and Campground, Provo, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is our third stay at Lakeside RV Park. I noticed a couple negative reviews and wanted to let other travelers know this is a very pleasant park. There are lush green lawns around the sites and brand new playground equipment. We love the woodsy feel from all the trees around. River is there if you like to fish. Sites have all the amenities and propane is available. The staff is friendly, and it was nice to be welcomed back like friends this time. We will definitely be back with our motorhome. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Century Mobile Home and RV Park, West Haven, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park was a nice surprise, especially after viewing the industrial area surrounding the entrance. Once into the park it feels very private and quiet. The sites are large granite, but it required very little leveling. The staff we have encountered has been very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Century Mobile Home and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Doheny State Beach, Dana Point, California

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We have had a wonderful time beachfront camping at Doheny. We loved having a sandy beach of our own in front of our paved pad for the table and fire ring. The sandy berm would have been perfect for grandkids and cars and trucks. This park is very well maintained, including a very nice dump station. There are lots of little places to walk for something to eat it you don't feel like cooking, or the marina is a very short drive. You are also within 15 minutes of Laguna Beach to the north and San Clemente to the south. We camped at Doheny State Beach in a Motorhome.

Escondido RV Resort, Escondido, California

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Escondido RV Resorts for four nights and had a very pleasant stay. The staff was extremely friendly and they sent someone up to guide us in, even though we said we were okay on our own. Each site is beautifully landscaped creating a feeling of privacy, but trees are trimmed so they don't pose any problems. This may sound silly, but we appreciated the decorative oak-like trash barrels that were easily accessible and blended into the landscape. Some parks make you walk a block to find an overfilled dumpster, but they have mastered trash management here. Next time we will park a little closer to center. Even though there was room for our driver's side slide-out, the landscaping made accessing the storage under it difficult. Very nice park. We camped at Escondido RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV and Campground, Provo, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for more than a week and were sad to leave. The setting was beautiful with the leaves of the mature, well trimmed trees changing colors. The site was ample size and the park was very quiet. The park layout made maneuvering easy. We look forward to staying there again. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Mead RV Village, Boulder City, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We paid the extra for a lake front site and the spectacular views have been well worth it. The sites are very large, with level pads. Staff members are extremely friendly and helpful and store is adequate. We would certainly come here again. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.
