Caballo Lake RV Park, Caballo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The daily rate we showed included the charge for electric usage. This is one of the cleanest parks you will ever visit. The spaces are large and level. All utilities worked well. The lady who owns and runs this park is superb and welcoming. We definitely recommend it and will return when in the area again. We camped at Caballo Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Boot Hill RV Resort, Alamogordo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest parks we have visited. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. The pull thru site was very level, long, wide and angled. The wi-fi was decent and all hook-ups worked well. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when in Alamogordo. We camped at Boot Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Duke's Slickrock Grill, Campground and RV Park, Hanksville, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great location, quiet nights and nice views. The brisket at their restaurant is worth staying for. Our only negative is that the laundry facility was very dirty. We camped at Duke's Slickrock Grill, Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spring River RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

If you like train horns all night, this is the place for you. The people living in this park drive at excessive speeds and large dogs without leashes were routine as well. Would not stay here again when in Roswell. We camped at Spring River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wendover KOA, West Wendover, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA....over priced, old and tired. Half of the machines in the laundry were out of order. Not too many choices in the area so they can get away with the $50 daily rate for a pull-thru. Even though they were not full, they stacked everyone right next to one another. Often, there was nobody in the office on duty during the day. The wi-fi did work well. We camped at Wendover KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to visit the WWll bomber pilot training center museum. It's located at the airport in town and was the base from which the "Enola Gay" trained and flew to the south pacific on its way to Hiroshima in 1945.

This is just a great park right in a fine part of Oregon. The on-site owners take a lot of pride in their park and it shows. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Big Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sherman County RV Park, Moro, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to get to from "downtown" Moro about 1 mile to the east next to the fairground property. Easy to navigate with long pull-thrus. WI-FI worked fine and the laundry was spotless. The lady who manages the park for the County is fantastic. Overall, a good value for when you need a break going thru northern Oregon. We camped at Sherman County RV Park in a Motorhome.

Coyote Run RV Park, Connell, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very easy off and on the freeway, but far enough that we seldom heard traffic noise. The park is well run by the manager. Everything is clean and in good order. WiFi worked well. My only negative is that the overnight sprinklers for the grass between sites gets all over your RV and leaves very stubborn, hard water spots. We camped at Coyote Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Escalante Cabins and RV Park (formerly Grand Staircase Resort), Escalante, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

New park still under development. Very nice long and level gravel sites. Ryan, the mgr. was wonderful to work with. Excellent Wi-Fi. This is a great spot to explore the Escalante area and for some real good Jeep rides. We will certainly stop here again. The road to the hole in the rock is a must do. Allow 6 hrs round trip and only with good clearance vehicle especially the last 5-7 miles.

Young's RV Park, Caliente, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Everything but the Wi-Fi worked fine. The trees bordering each site make it tough to swing a 40 ft motorhome in without brushing thru the branches. Was very quiet at night and would stop here again for a longer stay. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Easy on and off freeway. Newer park and very tidy. The Wi-Fi needs to be improved as it hardly worked at all. Our site #25 only had the 30 amp working. The only other negative would be from the many miner and construction workers living in the modular units. They come and go at all hours with noisy trucks. If we were to be there more than one night, we would have asked to be moved further away from their neighborhood. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.
