Grand Staircase Resort, Escalante, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

New park still under development. Very nice long and level gravel sites. Ryan, the mgr. was wonderful to work with. Excellent Wi-Fi. This is a great spot to explore the Escalante area and for some real good Jeep rides. We will certainly stop here again. We camped at Grand Staircase Resort in a Motorhome.

Young's RV Park, Caliente, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Everything but the Wi-Fi worked fine. The trees bordering each site make it tough to swing a 40 ft motorhome in without brushing thru the branches. Was very quiet at night and would stop here again for a longer stay. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Easy on and off freeway. Newer park and very tidy. The Wi-Fi needs to be improved as it hardly worked at all. Our site #25 only had the 30 amp working. The only other negative would be from the many miner and construction workers living in the modular units. They come and go at all hours with noisy trucks. If we were to be there more than one night, we would have asked to be moved further away from their neighborhood. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sumpter Pines RV Park, Sumpter, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Other than the price and the dust, it is an ok place for a couple of days. Hard to get satellite reception through the trees. We camped at Sumpter Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The Narrows RV Park, Princeton, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great park in a perfect location between Steens Mountain and Burns. Easy to maneuver and very good hookups. Would certainly stay here again when in the area. Lady who checked us in was very helpful and had good info about the area. Gas, diesel and propane available. We camped at The Narrows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Quail Run RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Long, level and spacious sites. Easy in and out. Immaculate laundry facility. The managers on duty, (Arlene & Bob) were very pleasant and extremely accommodating and helpful. Would certainly stay here again and highly recommend this park. We camped at Quail Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park (55+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

They close the office from 12:00 to 1:00 so you have to sit and wait in a hot parking lot waiting for them to open. The sewer hook-up at the site was awful and probably illegal. No cable and no Wi-Fi. Their entrance is very narrow and restrictive. The road they are on (Ajo Way) is so busy that you sometimes can't get out of the park with your car, let alone your RV. There are much better places to stay when visiting Tucson. We camped at Desert Pueblo Mobile Home Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

A nice park with easy access. Very friendly man to check you in. Wi-Fi was good unless someone was "streaming". The parking pads are silly. Very narrow cement to park on and then walk on gravel. It should be just the opposite. The only negative would be the full time residents of the park that drive too fast and cut through open sites as if they owned the place. Would stay again when coming through Nevada. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

No cable, dusty gravel roads, sites not level, lots of dogs, expensive for an "old KOA" and the manager or owner, whoever she is, is very pushy and perhaps the rudest we have ever encountered. We will not be staying here ever again. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Would have been a better rating but for 3 items: 1. train noises 2. narrow sites - awning touches neighbor's slide 3. Wi-Fi too weak to work properly. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tombstone Territories RV Resort, Huachuca City, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Besides the double charging for electric, the park and the management is not what it used to be before being put up for sale. Like any business, it can go forward and improve through the years, or it can begin to slide backwards. Maybe if new owners come along, the attitudes and customer service will get back to where they once were. Until then, look for another place to stay. We camped at Tombstone Territories RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Benson I-10 RV Park, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

My advice is that you keep on driving right past this place. The manager is a very rude person. He has no business being in contact with the paying public. The park is dirty and reflects the management. Dry camping on the side of the highway would be a much better option. We camped at Benson I-10 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yakama Nation RV Park (Closed), Toppenish, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly and capable staff. Sites are nice, and Wi-Fi worked well. Easy access to the casino if interested. The laundry area is limited and the rate per night is getting up there. All in all, it is a good place to stop for a night or two. We camped at Yakama Nation RV Park (Closed) in a Motorhome.

Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park, Pendleton, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

In full agreement with other review that stated the rundown condition and still declining. All attention goes to the hotel, casino and golf course which are all very nice. The staff that checked us in was rude and lied to us about available sites. This park has a captive audience with no alternative, so the customer is treated accordingly. Next time through, we will drive further and stay elsewhere. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Emigrant Springs, La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent rangers and park hosts. The campground is kept spotless. About 6 sites can handle 40 footers and still park the toad. Best place we have ever seen to stay if you are towing a trailer with horses. Only negative is the very loud highway noise due to proximity to I-84. We camped at Emigrant Springs in a Motorhome.
