Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Park convenient to Yosemite. Lots of children playing and enjoying park activities. The reason for the poor rating is the dust conditions. They have no dust control, and the roads and sites are all dirt, and with vehicles driving around, the dust is swirling and covers everything. Not possible to sit outside and enjoy the weather which was nice while we were there. I spoke with park management regarding dust control, and they just said they were sorry. They do nothing to control the problem. If you have allergy problems, avoid this park. Forget trying to keep your rig or tow vehicle clean. We camped at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging in a Motorhome.

Twin Lakes RV Park, Davie, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We were unable to attend a October 26-29, 2011 rally because of illness. They refused a refund Paid for 3 nights plus $20.00 gate pass fee in advance. Rally members who did attend say poor conditions, poor attitude by management, and used a bait and switch to charge more than agreed $28.00 per night per site was agreed fee. After a lot of arguing, charge was $43.00 per night. This park is a mess, and should be avoided. We are trying to get the credit card company to provide a refund, and sanction the park. We camped at Twin Lakes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Holiday Campground, Ochlockonee Bay, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice view lots, but the roads and sites are not paved and very dusty. You cannot walk any place without getting yourself covered with that powdered sand. Restaurant across street not worth the money for food. We had 2 grouper sandwiches and cost was over $35.00. Lots to see and do in area. We camped at Holiday Campground in a Motorhome.

Royal Coachman RV Resort, Nokomis, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2006 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a rip off. Streets are narrow. I don't know who wrote up their website, but it is a fabrication. Sites very difficult to maneuver into. Lots of trees, sap, and cones falling. Absolutely without a doubt would not stay in this park or recommend ever. We camped at Royal Coachman RV Resort in a Motorhome.
