Mayberry Campground, Mount Airy, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly new campground. The sites are very spacious and easy to access. We did have problems with the Wi-Fi, hit or miss about getting on. This park is located close to town so you can take in the features of the inspiration for the "Andy Griffith Show". Very enjoyable. Laundry was not yet installed, but will be very soon as almost everything was complete. We liked it here and highly recommend it. We camped at Mayberry Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We were here only one night, but it was a nice campground close to the interstate. We were not able to get a pull-through but a staff member helped us park. Sites were shaded, level and paved. We camped at Candy Hill Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Black Bear Campground, Florida, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two nights to be close to NYC for sight seeing. We parked on an upper level site. There was a winding paved drive to the site, and there was one fairly sharp turn, but there was room to swing out so that we had no problem making the turn. Everything else was fine. We camped at Black Bear Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park, Effingham, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We were pleasantly surprised to find this site on the spur of the moment. We had a nice water view from our camp site. This was our first time camping with a new travel trailer and there were no pull through sites available when we arrived. It wasn't necessary as we found because a staff person guided my husband parking the trailer and it was easily done. We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. We camped at Camp Lakewood Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
