Spring Mill State Park, Mitchell, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Seemed to be little to no daily cleaning of the shower houses. They needed some updating. There were some small sinkholes gathering water that needed to be filled in the sites. Finally, there's poor cell service or WiFi. We camped at Spring Mill State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you want to swim, go on a weekend because that's the only time it's staffed. They have a beautiful pool and I've been to this campground dozens of times and NEVER been able to go swimming. My fault I guess. If you go exploring the caves, bring a flashlight, and an extra pair of shoes. Finally, get mosquito repellent. Lots of it...or you'll need a transfusion.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort at Raintree Lake, Scottsburg, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Just a few minor negatives- the grounds crew could've been friendlier. A smile and nod go a long way.

-there are ALOT of signs saying what you can't do. It's a little depressing

-there charge for EVERYTHING, even mini golf

Positives - the bathrooms/shower houses were super clean

- quiet time was quiet

- when they mowed around the RVs, they were careful not to throw grass on your rv and vehicle. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort at Raintree Lake in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There's plenty of stores in Scottsburg. Don't waste your money in their camp store. WAAAAY too expensive. The Yogi Bear theme seemed forced. Lots of signs and statues. Maybe your kids will like it. Bring things to keep your kids occupied.
