Saddle Mountain Ranch Campground, Carmel, California

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful mountain views. Closest RV/Camping/Cabin stay to Carmel and Monterey and all the attractions they hold. Clean, lots of trees and flowering plants. Communal firepit in gazebo, large pool, very nice playground, hiking trails. Friendly staff. Very quiet. Clean and nice bathrooms/showers. No rigs over 35 feet. One mile off Carmel Valley Road. The entrance narrows and is steep for the last 100 feet but you won't have a problem.

No wood burning fires, but charcoal and Duraflame logs are permitted.

You can rent a portable fire pit if you forgot yours, or if your site does not automatically come with one.

Great place for families....

LOVE the beautiful cabins. Will return to stay in those at another time. We camped at Saddle Mountain Ranch Campground in a Motorhome.

Anaheim RV Park, Anaheim, California

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and tidy. Love the smell of the fresh cut grass outside my door one morning. Nice pool. Best part for me was that the shower, toilet, sink and dressing room were all in one space for one person or family. Clean laundry room open 24 hours a day. Loved our stay there. Friendly! I will return yet again. We camped at Anaheim RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Indian Wells RV Resort, Indio, California

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

While the attendant and her husband were very friendly at the check in desk, the park is sort of a mish-mash of trailer homes and RV lots and RV storage. There are three pools that looked nice, but the bathroom/showers were very old, cupboards coming off their hinges, showers so small you can barely turn around. Good thing I showered at night because I couldn't change in the tiny little area provided. The park is well lit and I felt safe. For the money, it was kind of creepy. We camped at Indian Wells RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
