La Hacienda RV Resort & Cottages, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice! Friendly, helpful staff of professionals! Everything about this park is awesome! Close to the city and lake but far enough removed from the mainstream. Clean grounds that the staff clearly take care to make it inviting. Other nice RV areas in the Austin area, but we like this one the best! We camped at La Hacienda RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Gulf Coast RV Resort, Beaumont, Texas

Sad to see this once good site going downhill. Staff is rude, lazy and have no sense of customer service. Be prepared to work around the convenience of the staff, not yourself! Each bathroom and building have a separate code to get into: which means that if you are walking around the park, you need to have the list of each building bathroom code with you. Posted hours of operation are wrong and they open services when they feel like it. Overpriced for value. The owner needs to replace staff with people that understand that it is us, the travelers, that pay them! We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park! Friendly, caring staff, quiet location. An all around super park! We are sure others in the area are just as nice: but we didn't stay at them. We will be going back to this park many times! We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park! Lake view and each site is large enough for privacy. Family orientated, friendly staff. Garage bags and pick-up each morning provided. Lots of wild life even had a woodpecker at our site. We will definitely plan another trip here! We camped at Spring Creek Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wow! What a find! This is a delightful RV site with large space, spectacular views, and friendly staff. Located just outside of town so there is no road noise, it is perfectly situated to enjoy the countryside. Large enclosed park for the dogs, well lite but dark enough to see the stars. Just down the street from a great hot springs bath. You will love it. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $35.00

Rarely have we stayed at a location that just did everything wrong like this site. The staff (when available) even at 2 pm on a weekday could not be found, resulting in a delay getting to our site. The park had a pungent odor of decay. The only place to walk the dog was on gravel - no grass. It was plain that their focus was not on customer service. It almost seems like they went out of their way to be rude when they didn’t need to be. It appears that much of the park is dedicated to day workers living out of small trailers. We were very apprehensive about going out after dark as it seems that many of the guests walked the road in packs or gangs. We were very disappointed and could never recommend this to a family or traveling couple. We camped at Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park in a Fifth Wheel.
