Expo Square RV Park, Tulsa, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a regular campground/RV park but for the people doing events at the fairgrounds. No picnic tables, no patio type area. Very narrow sites but when we were there they were letting people use two sites. All concrete but grass and trees between rows. Water pressure went up and down during our stay so we had to use our pump to ensure water during a shower. A good place if you are attending an event but otherwise I wouldn't stay here again. Oh, a plus, the WiFi was awesome! We camped at Expo Square RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA), Clayton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Only good if you must stay in this area. Sadly neglected. Looks like no maintenance has been done in years! Actually looks like it was abandoned. We tried three different sites and none were level. The dog yard was two foot of weeds. We would not stay here again. The bright spot was the lady in the office was very pleasant. We camped at Clayton RV Park (formerly Clayton KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Quality Inn & RV Park, Tuba City, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were not very long though wide enough. We stayed hooked up but barely fit our 35 ft 5th wheel and truck. Don't use #9 as there is a tree to plan your slides around! Dog park had no trash can. It was quiet, no WiFi. About the only campground between Flagstaff and Cortez using Hwy 160. There is a restaurant on site and a nice little store. Good value for the price and felt very safe and secure as it is fenced in and behind the motel. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sleeping Ute RV Park (formerly Ute Mountain Casino RV Park), Towaoc, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with trees. Sites could be longer - we had a 35ft 5th wheel and stayed hooked up but just barely. Also had an end site, 71, with grass. Either maintenance is lacking or they just had a big wind storm - which could have happened - but there were leaves and branches all over the park. No doggie bags in the bag station and nasty thorns on the way to the dog park. Wi-Fi was ok but not great. Friendly staff and good security. Very quiet - out of Cortez by 11 miles. The big plus is the restaurant at the casino. Very reasonable and the ribs were awesome!! We would stay here again. We camped at Sleeping Ute RV Park (formerly Ute Mountain Casino RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overnite RV Park, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Our second time at this park. Love the fact that they have several sites with small, fenced dog yards right at the site! No Wi-Fi but phone reception was good so you can use the IPhone hot spot. The park is on the Loop around Amarillo so we just used that in the morning to go North towards Dumas. There is a Pilot station and McDonalds right across the street. We will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Overnite RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lubbock RV Park, Lubbock, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice long, wide pull through sites. Picnic tables on sites. Convenient to the interstate. Some grassy areas for walking your dogs but the back area is full of nasty stickers that get into the dogs paws. We would stay here again. We camped at Lubbock RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Galloping Snail, Bryan, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful small park which is three minutes from the Brazo Expo Center. The pull through sites are way too small but the outside and new ones are nice size. Wi-Fi is just ok. The Hospitality from the owners rates a ten!! Vey friendly, they makes sure that there are no rule infractions and best of all they serve a Friday evening dinner - free! Sites are on packed gravel with grass between most. Nice dog park. We will definitely stay here again! No picnic tables on the sites. Those would be a plus! We camped at Galloping Snail in a Fifth Wheel.

Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park, Dolores, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I had heard many people recommend this campground and we finally got a chance to come! We were absolutely delighted with it!! Over 40 sites are right on the banks of the river and all of the sites are large and have grassy areas next to them. We had phone service and good wifi. We are planning our next trip here already!! We camped at Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two separate nights as a way point. Very Clean, nice park. Large sites for our 35 foot 5th wheel. Lots of little extras around the park including a paved pot luck area and a couple gathering places. Clean all over. The dog walk was small but had grass and was clean. Lots of shade trees. Have I said that it was clean? Owners were very nice and have owned this for 35 years!! We will stay here again. (A little pricey but worth it!) We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Pam's RV Park, Helper, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Ok, this was an interesting park. Only about a dozen sites. Very small. They held one large site for us. Pleasant owner, lots of grass and surprisingly good wifi. Gravel full hook up site. We didn't need the dump so we were charged $20 instead of $25!! That being said we almost did not even turn up the road it was on since it was a dead end. Definitely call ahead to assure a site and get directions. We camped at Pam's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very pleasant park. Trees, grass, blacktop and good wifi. Pleasant staff and clean. Far enough off the interstate to be quiet but not too far. We would stay here again. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Detroit Lake State Park, Detroit, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The site we stayed in was full hook up, 30 amp. Loved this campground. We were here off season so, though almost full, it was very quiet. Lots of trees and shade and a quick walk to the lake. Site was very un-level but worth it. We would definitely stay here again!! We camped at Detroit Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gem State RV Park and Campground (formerly Mountain Home KOA), Mountain Home, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Good overnight park. Three miles off the interstate so it was quiet except for the trains that are fairly close. Very clean with friendly staff. An older and tired former KOA. Had a nice long pull through on grass/gravel. Could not get the Wi-Fi to work but had good cell service so used my hot spot. In a pinch we'd stay again. We camped at Gem State RV Park and Campground (formerly Mountain Home KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This was our second time to this park for an overnight stay. Always impressed with the friendly staff and the cleanliness. Nice shade and green grass plus two dog yards. Probably the best KOA we have ever stayed at. The Wi-Fi was awful as with most parks. We would stay here again. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tapo Canyon Park, Simi Valley, California

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second stay at this park so we knew what to expect. Cannot walk the dogs in the day area part of the park so walked them on the side of the road. LOTS of stickers for them to get in their paws so that is not good. There is a very large dog park about 3 miles away that is very nice. There is NO internet or phone service if you have Verizon. Sites were concrete with dirt on the sides. But - very clean and the hosts were very friendly. Since we have relatives in the area we will stay again. We camped at Tapo Canyon Park in a Fifth Wheel.
