Bakersfield RV Resort, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park but management should be clearer that trucks and cars should not be parked on the road area. Made it very difficult to get a proper turn into the site. And also didn't make our arrival there very pleasant. Other than that the pool is beautiful and the restaurant and staff were great. We camped at Bakersfield RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Portal RV Resort and Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed on the resort side which we felt was worth it as we got to enjoy the pool plus the owner of our site had built a great shade area. A very clean park which is landscaped beautifully. Only downside was some of the owners around us were not friendly at all. We camped at Portal RV Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Wendover KOA, West Wendover, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Interesting park. No one in office when we arrived during the day but they had left site number on window. Place was pretty empty so it was nice that they kept everyone who was there close but not too close together. It was good for a one night stop. Casinos were within walking distance. We camped at Wendover KOA in a Motorhome.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of my favorite parks. I reviewed it a few years ago but a couple of things have changed. The WiFi is much better and the place is definitely busier. My only suggestion to the resort is they should monitor their dump station. On numerous occasions in the last few years we have witnessed people who have no idea what they are doing ( or just don't care because they don't actually stay at the Oasis) spill sewage, grey water and I don't know what all over the ground at the dump station at the entrance. The smell is awful. Other than that, the pools make the stay a memorable one. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Emerald Desert RV Resort, Palm Desert, California

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

What can you say that would be bad about this Resort? Maybe that there is no golf course anymore just some greens areas. But the rest of the park makes up for it plus there are lots of golf courses in Palm Desert anyways. I couldn't believe there was a TV set and a lovely lounge in the laundry room. They have even built a small pool right outside the laundry so you won't miss any pool time while you do your wash! The large pool is a tropical wonder. Only wish they had turned on the heat so it was a bit of a shock to jump in. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Emerald Desert RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Swinomish Northern Lights Casino RV Park, Anacortes, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I liked this park. The woman checking us in was very friendly. Although it says to go to the gift shop it is just the counter by the front doors where you check in. The sites are nice and wide. There is grass between each unit. There is even a beach to walk down to. Very nice dog area. But best is the short walk to the casino. The only problem I could see is the sites might be a bit mucky if it was raining. I will definitely go back here. We camped at Swinomish Northern Lights Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cannon Beach RV Resort, Cannon Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice and clean RV park. Lots of trees but trimmed so they didn't interfere with your unit. It is nice and close to Cannon Beach. Although we drove we did see people walking into town. I would however not recommend it to anyone who has an expensive RV. Although fire-rings were well positioned there was an abundance of large bonfires about the park. Great for anyone who does want the experience but anyone who doesn't should stay clear. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I love this park. Even though they have messed up my reservations the last two times we have visited. The pool is the best part as they have both an adult pool and a family pool in a very tropical setting. The store is very convenient, and its staff is always friendly. The washrooms and the laundry facilities are very clean. The wi-fi is expensive. It is probably cheaper to pay for a week if you are only staying a few days. You can hear the planes taking off and landing at McCarren airport. I know some people don't like the noise, but it never bothered us. They have security at the entrance of this park which is nice to see. There are individual dog runs, and nice lighting at night so you can take an evening stroll. We will definitely be staying here again. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cedars RV Park, Ferndale, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The sites with hedges are very tight and not very pleasant when you have your slide out and your stairs down. It leaves a very awkward space to set up any seating. The washrooms and laundry area is very nice. The park is well groomed but there are a large number of full-timers and unfortunately the park does not seem to require they keep their areas tidy. Although the office staff is very pleasant I did not like that they placed us between two full-times in a virtually empty park. We will not stay here again. We camped at Cedars RV Park in a Motorhome.
