City of Rocks State Park, Faywood, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

No doubt Mother Nature outdid herself at this park, but man could watch over it a little closer. People from the outside seem to travel at will through the park and RV areas without apparently buying a day pass. Quiet times and doggy doo pick up are ignored. Security and lighting needs to be improved around park facilities. This might discourage outsiders from using the restrooms for boy-girl hanky panky. True story, and they sure didn't want to leave. We camped at City of Rocks State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful riverside location away from highway noise with a very friendly, helpful staff. We stayed one night, but next time it will be longer. The river, private lake, trails, mountain scenery, level sites, clean facilities, who could ask for more? We camped at Pagosa Riverside Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cottonwood RV Park, Bluff, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

A nice, quiet campground centrally located for all the scenic areas of Southeastern Utah. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and know the territory to get you to all the scenic areas, including those out of the way spots. We wound up staying a week and enjoyed every minute. We would stay at Cottonwood again. We camped at Cottonwood RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
