Townsend / Canyon Ferry Lake KOA, Townsend, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was friendly. No escort to the campsite like most KOA. The site was not level causing the front tires to be off the ground when jacks were down so had to make manual adjustments for leveling to get tires on the ground. The lake was not far. We would stay here again. The grounds were well kept and had lots of geraniums. There are a lot of long term campers, probably reason we could not get site with full hook ups. We camped at Townsend / Canyon Ferry Lake KOA in a Motorhome.

We were in the area searching out old mines/ghost towns, rock hounding and geocaching. We had to drive some distances for the mines but the area is nice and lots of history.

Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground, Yuma, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

A return visit for us and will definitely return and recommend to others. Wish we could find more parks of this quality. Lot spacing was spacious with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface was a concrete pad featuring a fire ring, picnic table and patio. We camped at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is our second stay at this campground and we will return when in the area. This campground was very convenient for our visit to Bannack, Big Hole Battlefield, and Coolidge Ghost Town. It's quiet, spots level and convenient to highway. We camped at Countryside RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Butte KOA, Butte, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We were parked on the back row right next to visitor center so very convenient to walk there and also hop on trolley. Our spot was very level. A different wifi system-their own Hotspot. Started out sketchy but improved over stay. Only one computer/phone per password. Staff very nice. Did not participate in Chicken Shack located next door to office. We would definitely return here. We camped at Butte KOA in a Motorhome.

Dick's RV Park, Great Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Our second visit to Great Falls but first visit to Dick's. We would come back here for sure. Even though it's located close to the highway we didn't notice a lot of traffic noise. The spots are spacious and level with grass areas in between spots and picnic tables. There are multiple wifi connections but at night time the signal can be slow or not available with so many people using it. Staff was very nice and we were pleased with our choice to stay at Dick's. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Acres Campground, Lewistown, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here 3 years for the Cowboy Poetry weekend events. This year we didn't get our reservations soon enough to be in the regular campground area and was assigned a place in the mobile home area. This turned out ok since it was very quiet. Could not receive wifi where we were and had to park on grass which we were glad we had put down the jack pads because after the big rain the jacks were down in the ground quite a bit. With a little work the campground could be made better. We camped at Mountain Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

If attending the Cowboy Poetry weekend, reserve early. The 50 amp sites are not real plentiful.

Rivers Edge Campground, Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We got the winter rate for our stay. There are a lot of "permanent" campers/residents in the park. One small permanent camper was being relocated to the spot right next to us that is a long pull through spot! Since there is no sewer hook-ups at the sites, the permanent residents have tanks under their campers for sewage collection. This wasn't especially appealing! Overall the campground was good, a nice restaurant within walking distance too so we didn't have to disconnect. We would stay again but request a site down from the permanent camper! We camped at Rivers Edge Campground in a Motorhome.

Double J Campground and RV Park, Chatham, Illinois

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great campground! The owners had put a lot of thought into the accommodations and amenities. I had emailed them about availability and received an email back stating they had reserved us a spot, gave the spot number/its length. There was a large dog walking area, not fenced off which would have been nice but marked off well. We would definitely stay here again. We were far enough from the highway not to be bothered by the noise. We had Good Sams discount. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Memphis KOA , Marion, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was friendly and when I asked for a spot with few trees, she placed us in a "satellite" spot. The spot was long, easy in/out and no overhanging trees. We are KOA members so got that discount plus had seen on their website about a $5 discount for on-line reservations/call in reservations. We were very pleased with this park and would stay here again. We camped at Memphis KOA in a Motorhome.

Governors' RV Park and Campground, Casselton, North Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is run by the Days Inn. We had a great pull through site. The sites were level and easy in/out. Close to the interstate but we were not terribly bothered by noise. Mostly bothered by mosquitoes! We would stay here again. The hotel offered discount on their breakfast but we did not participate. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Miles City KOA, Miles City, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second stay at this park. The staff is very friendly and placed us in a good pull though site. With a sick pet, I was up using the laundry at 1 am so thankful that was available! We would stay here again. A little train noise but not terribly disturbing. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Motorhome.

Spirit Mountain Campground, Duluth, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We called about availability and got their "after hours - (4:30)" recording stating there was lots of availabilities. Being new to this area and unfamiliar w/the park, we did not realize the closeness of things! Trying to get the big rig in with a tow was a bit tricky and we had no idea of where if any there were any 50 amp sites so we just used a 30 amp converter. The site was not level - our front tires way off ground so decided not to even put slides out or level. We would not try and get in there again with a big rig. The park would be great for smaller size campers though! We camped at Spirit Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Frontier Bar & Campgrounds, Saxon, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The WiFi does not work at the campsite. You have to go into the station/office to use it. We had a good pull-through site with no overhanging trees. Since the leaves were falling, this prevented the collection of those on top of our rig. AT&T phone service is very poor - Verizon not much better! Just the area, not the campground's fault! We stayed 9 nights and got one night free. We would stay here again. We camped at Frontier Bar & Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was wonderful. Each site was cleaned and manicured (gravel area raked) after each guest left. The concrete pads, picnic table and fire pit were great as well as WiFi reception. We arrived after hours and found the phone options were disturbing to find a person to speak with for directions, and the website not allowing me to tag on an additional one night for the two nights that we already had booked (arrived a day early). Would highly recommend this campground. We camped at Cherry Creek State Park in a Motorhome.
