Brookhollow RV Park, Kelso, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This park is conveniently located near I5 but far enough away that there is no noise from it. There is a great walking path along the dike beside the river. The rate has increased quite a bit over the years but we will continue to stay here when in the area. We camped at Brookhollow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Netarts Bay Garden RV Resort, Tillamook, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in 3 separate sections. The pictures in their brochure are somewhat misleading as there is no beach. This park is mainly for fishermen and crabbers. It is a sister park to the one in Sisters, Oregon but there the similarities end. There is absolutely no TV unless you have a satellite dish. Many of the sites are owned in this campground. Some sites are extremely close together. We camped at Netarts Bay Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon, Coburg, Oregon

This park is located very close to I-5 so traffic noise is bothersome. The park is very nice otherwise. They are selling permanent spaces in one section of the park. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Eugene Oregon in a Motorhome.

This is an absolutely beautiful campground. It is well run, clean and quiet. It is close to Sisters and a short drive to Bend or Redmond. It is a little pricey but satisfactory for what you get. We camped at Bend / Sisters Garden RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Burns RV Park, Burns, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We had a huge site (#52) and it was level. This park is right on the highway so there is some noise from that but the sites 50 to 54 are the furthest away. The noise did die down at night. The staff was very friendly. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

Monroe Creek Campground & RV Park, Weiser, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very close to the highway but due to light traffic noise was not a problem. It is a short drive to Weiser (pronounced Weezer) which an interesting town. They process potatoes and onions here and there is quite a bit of spillage as trucks hit bumps and turn corners to onions are there to pick up (which we did) and enjoy. We camped at Monroe Creek Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a well run very nice park. If you want to wash your unit the cost is $8 which was worth it as we went through quite a bit of rain and were very dirty. They escort you to your site and the management is very friendly. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Blue Lake RV Resort, Naples, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is located very close to the highway but any noise dies down at night. Be very careful of the turn to the campground road if you are coming from the south. The entrance road from the highway to the train tracks is extremely rough so go dead slow. There are a few trains but if you are further back in the campground they will not be bothersome. The campground is only a few miles from Bonners Ferry which is somewhat interesting to explore. We also did a hike to Snow Creek Falls (a little hard to find) which is a very nice walk in the woods. We camped at Blue Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We had a good site with full hookups. A day trip to Pincher Creek and a visit to Kootenai Pioneer Museum was very interesting. We recommend the pizza at the Grill in Pincher Creek for lunch. There is a 9 hole golf course right across the street from the campground. We camped at Daisy May Campground in a Motorhome.

8 Flags RV Park, Milk River, Alberta

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for several days, using it as a base to tour Writing on Stone park and Cypress Hills. It is adjacent to a 9 hole golf course. We enjoyed our visits with the park manager as he had some very interesting stories. Be aware that it gets quite windy in this area of Alberta so don't leave awnings up or items outside that could suffer from the wind. We camped at 8 Flags RV Park in a Motorhome.
