New Green Acres RV Park , Walterboro, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was a one night stopover on the way back to Florida. It is very convenient to get to to from I-95, and is perfect for a one night pass through. We showered here, but it's not something I'd want to do often. I can't say it was dirty, just sadly outdated with burned out fluorescent bulbs, which made for a dark (men's) shower. We would stay here again. On a positive note, the cable was good and the internet strength for our Verizon wi-fi was awesome! We camped at New Green Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverpark Campground, Jonesborough, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We spent two nights here in the spring, on our way to Ohio - we were so impressed, we just spent two more nights here on the way back. We stayed in a river site (#29 - had #30 in the spring) which costs $10 extra, but to us, is well worth it. We would like to spend a week or more here next summer - it is a little gem of a park! The food in their diner is tasty as well. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cutty's Sunset Camping Resort, Louisville, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park has been in operation for awhile; there are many older units, but just as many newer ones. Some areas are nicer than others, but overall it is a nice park. The restrooms are cleaned (well) every day, and multiple times on busy weekends. The staff in the office are very pleasant and helpful. We camped at Cutty's Sunset Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverpark Campground, Jonesborough, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We decided to pay the extra $10 for a riverfront site; it was money well spent! We were in site #30 right next to the rapids - it was quite noisy (the water) but we didn't mind. We will stay here again on the way back to FL in the fall. We camped at Riverpark Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Baylor Beach Park, Navarre, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is the second time we stayed here; the first time we lived in AZ and came back to this area to visit family. We now live in the area and brought our new to us 5th wheel here for a shake down cruise. It is a very nice park owned by Christians, and is close to a lot of activities. My only "complaint" is that they don't have cable TV available. We would highly recommend this facility. We camped at Baylor Beach Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Williston Crossings RV Resort, Williston, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We checked in here Nov. 1st to spend the winter; last year we passed through this area of Florida on the way back to Ohio from AZ, and in our opinion, this park is the nicest park we found in a 50+ mile radius of Ocala. If swimming is a big issue, you will be disappointed, but if you are like us and are looking for a well kept, quiet, nicely landscaped, secure park, this will fit the bill. Yes, it is bank owned, but we have never found the staff to anything but extremely helpful any time we've talked to them. There is a manager who is very pleasant and seems to be doing all he can to make everyone's stay a pleasant experience. We haven't noticed any "booming" noises as stated by a previous poster; there are the normal occasional noises you would expect from any neighborhood. We've found that both Gainesville and Ocala are just a short drive either north or south if you want big box stores and/or any kind of restaurant you'd want. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The Barnyard RV Park, Lexington, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We spent eight days here on our way south to Florida, and overall, we thought the park was nice. There seemed to be a fair amount of "regular" residents, but they were in a separate section at the back of the park, and the majority of the units were newer. We were in a 60' pull through (they have longer ones for big rigs) and the sites all seemed to be level. The office staff was very friendly and helpful, and there was free internet at the office (in a separate room w/two stations), otherwise it was about $5 per day! The only complaint we (my wife) had was the laundry at the rear of the office; she said it wasn't the cleanest plus some of the machines needed some work. While here for a week, we observed that this park seemed to be a one night stopover for people on the go. It is easy to get to from either I-20 or I-26, and there are good restaurants and shopping close. If you like flea markets, the one at the front of the park (Sat & Sun) is a MUST! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We camped at The Barnyard RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground, Romance, West Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

After reading previous posts, I wasn't surprised by the narrow winding road leading to this park, but the drive was well worth it. What a beautiful setting for a RV park. There seemed to be a lot of permanent units, some old but also many newer ones. There are two lakes with fountains, and a beautiful little (active) church across the water. As we walked our dog in the late afternoon, we saw two white tailed deers. The restrooms and showers were modern and clean. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
