Chinook RV Resort, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

$15 is the Passport America rate. Daily rate includes cable, Wi-Fi and electric with 30 amp hooks. We stay at this park on the river at least twice a year. Love it. It's busy during fishing season, but very quiet when we pass through the area (spring and fall). Quick in and out off the Redwood Highway and the camp host is very easy going. Groceries are 30 minutes away in Crescent City and the sites are all grass so if those things bug you this may not be a good choice. Otherwise, it's excellent value for the money$$$. We camped at Chinook RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The Lakes RV & Golf Resort, Chowchilla, California

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The rate posted included one round of golf daily (per person) plus electric, WiFi and cable. Friends recommended The Lakes to us and we'll stop here every year when we're passing through. Beautiful spot, great golf course, and convenient from highway 99. And person in the office was friendly and very accommodating. Great spot to spend a relaxing week! We camped at The Lakes RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Apple Beach RV Park (formerly Sunny Beach RV Park), Oliver, British Columbia

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This place had everything we like in a park: friendly owners, good sized sites, excellent Wi-Fi, beautiful scenery. And only $20/night! Plus, it's convenient to golf, vineyards, and the USA border. We'll definitely be back. We camped at Apple Beach RV Park (formerly Sunny Beach RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

The Narrows RV Park, Princeton, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. It was pretty empty during our stay (maybe that's why it was so peaceful) but it fit all our requirements: reliable free wifi basic cable friendly owners enough room to walk the mutts without feeling crowded. The Passport America rate is only $13/night. AND there's a pool table in the onsite saloon :) We camped at The Narrows RV Park in a Motorhome.
