Lake Fairfax Park, Reston, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park could be a 10 but no water or sewer or wi- fi at any sites. No pull thru either yet there is a water park on the grounds. Long drive to camping area and twisty hills for a motor home towing. $40 with senior discount but close to where we had to be and Cherry Hill is just too far and must use I-495 which is always bad. We camped at Lake Fairfax Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Calhoun A-KO Campground (formerly Calhoun KOA), Calhoun, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

When making reservations management did not listen to me requesting a satellite friendly site or when we were checking in. Tree was on dish and could not get level with hydraulic jacks so we had to move. Will not return. We camped at Calhoun A-KO Campground (formerly Calhoun KOA) in a Motorhome.

Very quiet and picturesque with fields and ponds stocked for catch and release. Maintained well, helpful staff and gated. Quiet rural location. Beautiful grounds with ponds and fields. Owners here for over 40 years but still kind and flexible. $550 monthly and low cost Wi-Fi, gated, shaded and sun locations. Not all locations have sewer. Really like the owners/staff. We camped at Thompson / Grand River Valley KOA (formerly Heritage Hills Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Nice park but highway noise from Rte 301. Management is very difficult and rude. Tenants have told horror stories. They sway pet friendly, but only if they like your pet!! Will not stay again until new management arrives. We camped at Palm View Gardens in a Motorhome.
