Muskallonge Lake State Park, Newberry, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Good showers, very quiet at night, some sites have nice lake views. Very crowded even during the week, difficult to level rig, no camp store but there is a general store not too far away. Very remote. No cell service (Verizon). Electric box on opposite side of rig hookup, glad we carry an extension for our 30 amp. We camped at Muskallonge Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Hi-Pines Campground, Eagle River, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Shower house is great, excellent/friendly staff, good campground for kids (lots of activities), dump station location can be tricky if its crowded, our site was too short for our 35ft TT, but didnt feel like hooking up and moving, bring extra hose and extention cord (every other site has hookups on opposite side. Stayed four days (W/E site). We camped at Hi-Pines Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Fox Hill RV Park & Campground, Baraboo, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campstore, Water/Electric sites are shady and larger than FHU's. Very noisy and crowded on weekends. 30 second push button showers. Good place for kids. Stay Saturday thru Wednesday and they would not allow PPA discount for Sun, Mon, Tues....not sure why but was told had to be staying Sunday-Thurs to use it??????? We camped at Fox Hill RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort), Lebanon, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Friendly owners. Spaces are smaller than what we like, but worked out OK for three nights. Too bad there was a fire ban in effect, weather was perfect for campfires. Would stay here again. We camped at Nashville East / Lebanon KOA (formerly Countryside Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

These owners have a gem of a park. Sorry they lost so many trees to Katrina. We stayed here four days and loved this place. The cleanest and nicest bathroom/shower we have ever seen! Park owners really take care of their guests. Sorry we couldn't stay for his weekend cookout. Would definitely stay here again. Rate is Passport America. We camped at Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park, Saint George Island, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Loved this place! The 4 mile bridge to get to the island is impressive. The state park is so remote (away from the commercial stuff), the beach is very natural and undisturbed. Park hosts were very helpful and friendly. A campground store would be a nice addition, you have to drive 8 miles for ice! Be sure to bring your bug spray. WOW: the mosquito's are vicious! We camped at Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park in a Travel Trailer.
