This place was a good surprise. We booked here basically because it was one of the closest places to home. The park is clean, the staff was nice. There was a stream stocked with rainbow trout, and ponds stocked with bass, catfish, and bluegills. We had a ton of space and the stream just 30 yards away. Definitely going back.

We stayed here for a week. This is a great location with plenty to do, both in the park and around San Diego. There is a pool, a good store, a cafe, and activities for the kids all day long. A beach on the bay, boat rentals, etc. The park is big, and was definitely very crowded, with few empty sites. The crowding wasn't a problem, and the atmosphere was great until the weekend, when it became a giant party. I think people invite a lot of guests from the area so the park seemed way overfull and it was a little rowdy. The pool was too crowded, as was the beach. Overall a great spot though I would plan to stay during the week for the best time.

Stayed here for a week over the Fourth of July. We had spot #63 and it was great. Huge rock mountain behind the site and a much larger space than most of the other ones. The campsite is nice, if a bit dusty. There are plenty of mosquitos so bring spray. The store was stocked well, and the people were nice. Ice cream socials on Thursdays, which was a big plus as well. I will come back here for sure.

Great location. Spacious sites and access to the lake. Good fishing and a nice store. It was pretty cold when we stayed so there were not a lot of people. I can imagine it being pretty crowded in the summer but I don't think it would be a problem.

Great park. Great Time. We stayed an extra night we were having such a good time.

Number one feature enjoyed by our family was the pool. It is heated (about 80 degrees), meaning it was great even though it was only about 50 outside. The sites are not big, but they are private enough. Plenty of nice trails are around, and the beach is at most a 15 minute walk. All around a great place to spend some time, even it if is pricey.

Great park that gets very crowded at times. We stayed right next to the playground to it was noisy, but for us desirable with the kids. They do not enforce the quiet time, but the lights shut off by 10:30 so everyone heads back to their spots. Access to the lake is close for most spots. There can be a lot of bugs when it is warm and of course it can be very warm. The sites are very large with plenty of room between. The bathrooms are not the best, but were clean while we were here. I did not see any showers. Lots of trees for shade everywhere.

We stayed here for one night the day after we bought our new trailer (first RV for us). The facilities were adequate. The site seems like someone tried to make it very nice a few years back, but lack of interest seems to have let it run down some. There were maybe three other RV's staying here that night, all of which got here late and left early. There is a playground and a pool in decent repair. There is a miniature golf course, but it is run down and unusable. The family running it was very nice and there is a small store and rec room available. Overall a good place if you need to stop for the night, but wouldn't recommend unless you plan on boating at Pyramid Lake for multiple days.
